Thread: Prince of Tennis is da best

i say it is as cool as Cross Over or even better since i'm a tennis fan

I really enjoyed the anime(cept the last 15 or so episodes/ echizen beating tezuka part was just boooo shizzle), It was really entertaining throughout the whole 178 eps lol. Even the fillers are great =D.

I just started ready the manga(started from volume 20, since i watched the anime b4 started reading) and im slowly catching up. I wish there is more color pages =P.

hahaha..yah..know how you feel..but yah know..he is 'good' at tennis sooooooo ...really can't say much..unless you can beat him...8J.....who wannna give it a go...?

The anime gets a lil retarded when their special moves are completely blown out of proportions. With the meteors, dinosaurs and the crazy dbz effects are totally uncalled for.

I personally liked the manga more than the anime (minus the chibi episodes, of course, which were on crack...) Sure, the anime had more Yukimura in it, which made me happy, but they exaggerated things a lot. I didn't like the last arc, when Echizen went to America, nor did I like the golf swings and randomness, in un-random episodes.

Echizen's winning streak annoys me a lot, but at least in the manga he hasn't beaten Tezuka... yet. He *is* the protagonist, there's nothing we can do about it.

alright, POT is one of the most coolest manga ive ever seen, the anime was kinda disapointing because of the sucky ending and irrelevant episodes and fillers, but the chibi episodes were cute and funny

I liked the manga better than the anime, too. I haven't reached as far as the 100th episode yet, though.

Although most of their special moves are almost virtually impossible, I was still entertained. XD

I loved the manga! But I haven't seen the anime, and I'll never see it...I would hate Pot if I watch the anime...
Yeah, Pot's special moves are kinda unreal...but have there ever been a manga in which there weren't impossible situation? ;D
And my favourite character is Ryoma of course! (Althout I've already spent a whole thred saying this..)
And about the furuba yuki-fuuji's part, I think fuji's personality is very alike Hakkai( From Gensomaden Saiyuki), But Fuji is way funnier and cuter!!!!!!
