Thread: Six Techniques? More Like Five.

Well, it's my first post and I'm hoping not to make a fool of myself.

Well these new Six techniques that we've been seeing a lot of because of the fights against CP9 are cool and all but have you noticed something? I've only seen one of the techniques been used ONCE. I might have missed a second time but I've only seen the Kamie been used once, and that was back at the mansion.

It seems useless because CP9 either uses Soru or Geppou to move around and attack or escape the enemies attacks. Plus Tekkai almost neutralizes all attacks unless the enemy is strong enough. It almost defeats the purpose of having Kamie. Plus the only other time Kamie could have been used was Blueno's fight against Luffy.

I'm hoping to see Kamie actually be used either in the Kalifa vs Nami or Lucchi vs Luffy fight. (Especially Lucchi vs Luffy)

That's how bad it is, hasn't been used in so long no one knows what it does.

It's like your body becomes limp and floats like paper dodging attack. It's like Luffys Gomu Gomu Baka where it uses Natural Reflexes I think.

dodging attack? is that the one that made the user became like paper-like?

can someone list all the 6 forms? I've kinda rushed through the chapters

tekkai is harder to use than kamie

Tekkai is probably a higher level technique. In a RPG game, if you had unlimited mana, would you rather cast blizzaga or ice 1? or in pokemon terms, would you cast ice beam or aurora beam... hm.. maybe that isn't such a good example

I also assume that tekkai is more useful than kamie, most of the time. Because kamie is only dodging, and I assume.. they might think they could get hit... so they just rely on a more reliable technique

also... they might be lazy! would you rather sit there and not be hurt.. or wobble around like crazy to dodge your opponent's move... I suppose a cominbation of soru, geppou, and kamie is used when there is a stronger attack... but against those weaklings, they would only use tekkai

hm.. I also think tekkai is more natural for them. They know it so well that they just naturally use tekkai when attacked... shown when the CP9 member with the long hair, *forgot name.. and arlongpark is down.. so I can't check*

shigan - the bullet finger thing....
tekkai - iron defense
rankyaku? - the kick cutting thing
geppou - air kick
soru - speed
kamie - paper like dodging thing

hm.. that list seems close enough

Kamie seems to be better for the more powerful attacks, since tekkai can be broken. It's just that most everyone has underestimated how strong the group is.

Kumadori is the one who tries to commit seppuku all the time but Tekkais.

Shigan - "finger gun"
Soru - "to shave" (Extreme speed)
Tekkai - "iron mass" (body becomes like iron)
Geppou - "moon step" (lets you jump on the air)
Kami-e - "paper drawing" (you go limp and avoid all attacks)
Rankyaku - "storm leg" (cutting technique used by kicking your feet at high speeds)

i think that kamie is lesslikely to be used. eventhough it helps the users body becomes like a paper and dodge attacks. i think that high lv fighter wont have problems hitting the kamie.

another real weak point of kamie is that there would be some attack that will "land". since the person has paper-like quality, he cant bend exactly like paper. and also, if let see....luffy and zoro and sanji can keep up and move at the speed of soru...kamie would be a piece of cake to hit.

I'd guess Kamie is faster than Soru, and I still bet it's main advantage over tekkai is that tekkai can only block a punch that is so strong, while kamie allows you to dodge all blows.

doesn't nero use kamie to on the sea train and i don't think they say kamie everytime they use it so its probably used more then we think.....
