Thread: Luffy 3rd gear ???

can you believe luffy's 3rd gear ?
i wonder if his gears are just like the super saiyan transformations?

ok... stop comparing gear with SSJ.
HIs gear is completely different. Think of it like this. Each gear give him extra streng in each stat. Gear 2 gave him more speed and gear 3 gave him extra density.

And freaking stop going like wow gear 2!! he must be at lvl 2 or going ssj. Oda usually isn't that simple. dam it...

why 5 ??

luffy gave the gear name because it sounded cool for new techniques implying a change in his body.....
so at the end of the manga he could have a lot more than 5, or stay at 3...

luffy's gears is more like some new bad ass moves which he had sharpened through out his many battles. he bound to learn something new with all the matches he had. But you know how them pussy japanese are, they always write something pussy like " am mad, am going to fight you to the last blood to save my friends (emo/naruto)"
