Thread: name the OP characters based off real people and who these real people were

Let's make a list of all the characters in OP that Oda based off actual historical figures. I'll start with semi-three I can think of:

So far:
Black Beard: Edward Teach
Zoro: Francois l'Ollonais, and the Mexican Robin Hood, Zorro
Jango: Michael Jackson
Bartholomew Kuma: Bartholomew Roberts (AKA Black Bart)
Crocodile: based LOOSELY off of the stereotypical pirate captain, Hook
Donquixote Doflamingo: Don Quixote de la Mancha (by name only)
Usopp: named after Aesop, the fable teller (uso means lie, so it's kind of a portmanteau and pun)
Franky and Patty: body design based off of the legendary Popeye
Eneru: based off of the Storm God, Raijin, as well as loose nods to Buddha and Son Goku, the Monkey King
Baskerville: based off of the 3-headed knight from Monty Python skits
Bellamy the Hyena: Samuel Bellamy

Jiraquille Mihawk: Bartholomew Roberts (AKA Black Bart)

the Shandoran tribe in general mirrors Midwestern Native American tribes,
and although I can't confirm it, Saul reminds me of that one cowboy in an old John Wayne movie (Oda has mentioned that American Westerns is his favorite movie genre)

Sengoku is the name of the period in Japanese history known for it's horrific toture methods, I believe, as well as it's constant civil war.

Kinda ominous for his motives and goals, eh?

YBMC san got everything covered even the fictional types, like Zorro and Popeye XD... I knew about Mihawk and some others but kinda about it.

yeah the first time i saw pirates of the carabean i first reaction was "DAMN! Jack looks alot like mihawk in One piece!"
