Thread: adc-heaven vs. gerusama

I haven't found such type of discusion on this forum so if it's inapriopriate you can delete it but if you want to answer then please show some good quality argumentation .

adc-heaven and gerusama are SHIT in the shadow of [KF] fansubs. Seriously, they are the 1mill+ dollar sportscars in the world of OnePiece subbing.

I like all 3, or rather i have nothing against any of them
translation is all good with suttle nuances, only hk subs are bad
Quality wise, k-f is prolly the best, geru n adc are similar

So, i use all 3, adc cuz theyre the most current, n kf for everything else pretty much

yea, bad thing about ADC is choppers voice, i mean, is he supposed to sound like that, have they changed the voice actor for him? :O

but KF is best quality cuz they use DVD thats why they're behind so much, i use Gerusama and ADC, mostly ADC now because they're first with all the episodes...

I like Gerusama myself becuase of the fact that i can actualy play their avi version and it doesnt give me problems at all. ADC is fast but their files are annoiyng to play and I would prefer to burn my copy as a dvd rip so gerusamas version works good for me.

Chopper changed voice actress for 254 onwards because the normal actress got sick. It's only temporary.

True. Both are shitty work compared to the superior Kaizoku-Fansubs

1. DO NOT compare them with K-F it's not the topic here!!
2. If you possibly could speak more of FACTS like the level of translation, file size ,visual quality etc. i know your personal impresoin is the most important factor for you but it's not good enough for argumentation.

I agree that for people who are already watching the neewest episodes it's a stupid talk but in my case it's important because i'm not up to date and i'm standing before a decision weather to download gerusama or adc , i also think that if anyone else would be in my position and he would already have such topic to read he would make a wiser decision.
I know that more time to work with the episode gives better quality ,I also know about the general law behind the faster and slower fansubers which gives the faster fansubers an advantage in translating because the grup releasing as the second connot use the same expressions (which sometimes are more adequate) as the first did. That's why i wanted to have an inteligent conversation about the two releasers , i asumed that most people here watch what comes first but then download the later and watch again (at least i am doing so with most anime).
