how would it work tho... the SS armour... only 3 of the 8 straw hats have DF powers... and the second and third strongest of them arent DF users anyway... i fail to see the point in making the armour if the only person that it would stop isnt the person youd need to be worried about. >_>

I wonder if there's some weakness to seastone, though. As with diamond - it would be quite impractical in lots of uses because of the fact that it can be burned.

But as armor that doesn't present much of a disadvantage, if you're getting coated in fire, you're screwed, armor or no.

The biggest problem with diamond as armor is the fact that just the right hit would shatter it, and considering how strong zoro and the others are, it's not such a far stretch.

Of course, Sea Stone might not present that same problem, but if it's that hard, then one would think it would possess the same weakness.

Well... yes, diamond burns, but AFAIK, it's got a positive not negative Thermodynamic reaction. It doesn't produce heat, the "burn" process absorbs heat instead.

Anyhow, Seastone seems pretty common in this series. Cages, handcuffs, weapons (smoker!)... Frankly, there seems to be no logical reason for Zorro not to have a Seastone /seastone coated/ whatever sword. He'd tear stuff to pieces all over the place though.

Heck, if Enel hadn't broken those seastone sliding footwear things, Sanji would go ballistic on all sorts of opponents.

Pretty common in the marine maybe, but not for everybody i think.
Which suggest that the marine has it's hands on Seastone (not skybia because the marine has no power there).

And how would Zorro get such a sword. Steal it from the marine? He wouldn't think "oh a seastone sword makes me super strong". That's just not who he is. Not to mention that he doesn't need it.

Buy one in a shop? Come on, he is a poor guy. And such a sword would cost a fortune. No way he'd have so much money.

And i doubt he'll stumble over one or someone will give him one.

But all that aside. He just wouldn't want one just for the sake of being stronger (Maybe if Kuina's sword were one, but it isn't).
He doesn't want to be the strongest swordfighter because of his sword.

Seastone armor. If someone built a monstrous vehicle with seastone armor plating. Really....or even give someone with Zoro's or Sanji's strength armor. if they can build a seastone cage, why can't they do that?
It's a good concept, the problem is with logia users who don't have to touch you to do something. Like Aokiji didn't have to submerge himself in the water to freeze it, so perhaps he wouldn't have to touch the seastone to freeze you. (Since touching seastone equals being submerged completely in water.)

Perhaps its easier to just hide seastone accessories on your person and integrate them in battle. Rather than announcing up front that you have it.
Dear cousin choppitychop89, you were a good relative, though I hardly knew ye.

Sea stone swords would be sweet. I wonder if Hawkeyes has seastone in his enormous sword.

Seastone shoes for Sanji. That kick in the train would probably kill Blueno because he would be not able to do a tekkai.
