Thread: A curious theory. Dragon and a God Weapon

Anime Spoilers inherent:
I didn't see any other threads mentioning this, and I had recently reread, rewatched One Piece and an interesting idea surfaced.

Dragon, the mysterious cloaked figure who saved Luffy from Buggy and Smoker, has a god weapon.

And here is why I think this:

First, he appeared at Gol D. Roger's execution, and left in a flash of lightning. Doesn't tell us anymore than he is a link to Gold Roger and whatever he was doing now he could do before. (Not specifically mentioned in Manga, Episode 53 just over 19 minutes in)

Second, Gold Roger has read the Skypiean Poneglyph. A two step link from Dragon to the God Weapons. (Chapter 302)

Third, The extreme power he seemed to manipulate, granted, this could have been the effects of a "Storm Storm" fruit, but I have reasons to think otherwise, firstly, no one shares powers and he used a lighting bolt to strike the platform (Enel's power). Secondly Devil's fruit arise from the body and while his winds, rains, lightnings and thunders struck Loguetown seemed not to arise from his body. Finally, the elemental powers are devastating but Enel needed Maxim to perform his city sized attack.(Chapter 100, 277, and 294)

Counter Argument: He grabs Smoker's baton by the wrapped hilt to prevent Luffy from being attacked. And Enel was capable of doing Island size attacks, Advent of Thunder, with a devil's fruit and an amplifier, Maxim.(Chapters 100, 277, and 294)

Conjecture: I believe Gol D Roger has encountered a God Weapon (whether he found it or had someone built it or crossed paths with someone who had one is completely unstated). I believe this person was Dragon.


So does anyone see any obvious flaws in my evaluation or any evidence I may have overlooked. Like how when Dragon told Smoker "The world is waiting for our answer." affects the data. If so tell me

maybe Roger found and made ALL of the God weapons and distributed it to his crew.

Come to think of it Mihawk's sword might be a God weapon tooo.........

and i also think that Roger's crew didn't have more than 10 members ( like Luffy's crew)

I'm fairly certain that the God Weapons are ships. It just makes more sense that way.

no, pluton is a ship, but that doesn't mean all god weapons are ships....
fact is, we don't know -_- ... but why not one god weapon for each element... => a ship, a plane, a car etc. (forget this ^^")

ps : mihawk sword being a god weapon would be a shame for mihawk
(and god weapons are not that widespread)

But if this has some relation to vast power through technologically advanced warfare...

We're probably not talking about a regular ship that sails on the sea...

I do hope that super-advanced technology doesn't play too big a role with it. I mean, one of the charms of One Piece is the significant absence of anything similar to our "modern technologies," electricity, computers, the like. Here's hopin.....

#1 -- didn't Mihawk himself say that his sword was the most POWERFUL one in the world
#2 -- even if it is a god weapon.......that doesn't anyone can use it and get god-like powers........i think a god weapon would take an extreme amount of skill to be used effectively.

he stop zoro with a tiny knife, and stab him in his heart, he used his sword only in the end, i think that gold roger discover the 100 years of lost history and that the reson for his death and the one piece

I doubt Mihawk's sword is a God Weapon. His sword may be the most powerful sword in the world since it is being wielded by the most powerful swordsman, and not because it is a God Weapon. God Weapons are also said to have the power to destroy the world. If Mihawk's sword is one, he could have probably sank a whole island in one swing. He wouldn't bother jumping around Krieg's ships to slice them, since one swing should be powerful enough to destroy a whole fleet.

I don't think it will. The Frankie's must have had the capability of building the Pluton.And I don't think they could build circuits. Enel only managed it because he was Lightning.
