I was just wondering what makes people want to start reading a manga, when I remembered that I started reading one piece because everyone kept raving about how good/cool/cute/sexy nami is.
So my question is this:
What made you want to read One Piece (manga)?
Well, I started reading it because I first saw an episode of it on TV and I got hooked so I decided to read the manga.
I did because when I saw it on tv I was ashamed. The came here and people were giving it creds. So I decided to download a few and got hooked.
i was reading random magazines in 7-11 when i came across a shonen jump i read some of the mangas and liked them, then i went online and found out i could dl all sorts of manga, been reading manga since then.
Cuz my friend told me that it was good so i start reading it
cuz it was long.... really long... and i was in need of appeasing my OCD ...
twas sometime in the year 2000, the dawn of a new millenium, n unbeknownst 2 me, much much more...
dusk was halfway through the night n the dawning sun was soon 2 come. bored was i at the house of a friend. whence slumber was not so kind as 2 approach, i upon him did ask,
"bro u got any good comics?"
"ah yea just go in2 that room, pick something"
"what's good?"
"well that one called one piece is nice i thought"
"one piece ay..."
thus began the epic journey in the world that is one piece
I read One Piece because it had a popularity level similar to Naruto & Bleach, but then I found out that One Piece was the elder of the 3.
Well I firstly saw one of those 4kids crappy dubs of one piece and then after getting quite annoyed with it i thought that I would read and watch the subbed japanese version of it. And then the rest was history.
well i saw one piece first time with german dub many years ago.the dub was crappy and i thought one piece is shit. then i found the first japanese+ eng sub versions and one piece got one of my favourites. and cause of waiting i started to read the manga
