Goddamn, this was a greaaat chapter!!!

Glad that my hunch was right and we get to see one of the baddest mofos in the OP world!! Now my only question is whether Smoker is that weak or Doflomingo that strong! Complete and utter pwnage! Also first time we actually see Doflamingo's wires. He would have definately used them to straddle and ride the air current to Punk Hazard.

Or it could be he used that "sky road" he was talking about. Guess we'll know more in the future. And yeah, Dofla is a notch above Smoker's (and by extension Luffy & Law's) level, but he still doesn't stand a chance against Kuzan!

The same way Oda reveals his currents in a nagivational sense, think back to the underwater currents when the SHs were on their way to FI and the currents when they passed the grandline, the "Sky Road" seems like it would be a network of "air currents/wind" that probably links the islands together in the new world like a Highway of some sort. Now that doesnt nesessarily mean anyone can use it. If they are in some kind of aircraft, like a balloon, people may be able to ride the wind current, but in Doflo's case (what my hunch is correct) he may have been straddling the wind like a horse ad just riding the air. I think it works like that, opinion wise.

Smoker can now be used as a benchmark to measure who is stronger. But I hope Kuzan helps him become stronger.
Law has nobody but his crazy plan to blame. Guys other than the most daring of supernovas would not join in the crazy scheme of bringing down the Yonkous.
These weaklings are actually the most reasonable of the bunch. Taking on pirate leaders and their armies while hiding from the government forces and making an enemy of Doflamingo would scare anybody. Remember, admirals could not win easily against Whitebeards' subordinates. Now imagine taking on several such armies - 2 years of training are not enough.

It shows how weak smoker is now as an alleged "vice admiral". Think about it he was given the position after the war because of everything that happened and yet he can't do anything against his enemies which shows how weak he has gotten over the years.

^ Although now that I think about it NO VICE CAPTAIN should be able to be effective against a Shichi...in fact they should all be owned just as easily. Even Law owned him. I think we just have a higher expectation for Smokey because he's a Logia user and a major reuccring character.

Nah, vice admirals should be able to stand against Shichis. Remember, Shichis range from Croc to Mihawk (who is around admiral level, I suppose). I've been infected with "tiers" on NF, so I know what I'm talking about xD The stronger vice admirals should be the ones who headed the Buster Call and had an active part in the war (and were not getting owned).

And the sky road could be that thing that Apoo walked on after being chased by those boars on that island, if you remember. That's at least one theory.
