^ Dunno if he´s been abducted, but this is Oda... so he might even got a new ally :P ( I know, not probable, but hey...).
I really think only the higher tier novas will get Haki, like Kid, Law, Hawkins, Drake, Apoo perhaps... Bonney got caught, but she seems to be involved in a bigger plot string, so who knows?

I could see at least 90% of the Nova learning about Haki but none of which would be the Colour of the Conqueror.

Abducted?? I couldn't remember that its been so long. Was be abducted against his will or did he jsut comendere a ship from some other crew who seem to want to beat him up for it? If its the later then they propably just underestimated him since he has an entire army within him. Really though, I cant remember.

Apparently according to history she left her husband, who was subsequently greatly dismayed and enraged due to her departure, who had recently became a valuable Government informant and was recaptured and returned to him. Possibly Oda is going to use a tidbit of her past to shape her future in the plot.

The Mafia dudes seemed to have been abducted by aliens. Their ship started hovering in the air towards a giant thing or other (forgot what it looked like, but I think it looked moon-like). It's probably Ennui. His appearance in the New World would also explain all the lightning in that one island.

Luffy needs a rival to constantly show up besides Smokey, so someone out there needs to have Haoshoukuhaki besides him.

King's Haki, unlike the other colors of Haki, isn't something one can learn as they just have to be born with it, and as far as we've seen only the extremely rare and powerful people have it (Shanks, WB, Luffy, Boa, Rayleigh, and Ace). Although we didn't see or it wasn't specifically told is safe to assume that Dragon and Gold D possessed King's Haki as well, so Luffy's major rival wouldn't necessarily need to possess king's Haki (just be strong enough and possess enough will to withstand it like all other strong characters seem to do). So far the main villain for Luffy would be BB and he doesn't have any Haki period.. but he's still practically the most dangerous man on the OP universe due to his destructive powers to his DF abilities. And in terms of Rivals I dont think Oda will introduce a new rival for him at this point.... Cobi seems to be the man for that spot since I can only assume he'll be moving up the ranks of the marines and getting stronger in similar strides to Luffy. He'd still get beaten by him but thats as far as Oda would go rival wise in my book.

And damn, i totally forgot about Capone getting abducted by what could possibly Enero. *Goes back to re-read that chapter*.

Not something to get through training, but definitely something that takes time to master. I think the fact that so many people from the previous generations have CotC is proof that plenty of others in this generation will have it too.

And we don't have proof that BB doesn't have Haki. Remember that he was already powerful before getting his first Devil Fruit, and after he got it it was all he bothered using.

Well, BB surely knows bout Haki, since he told Luffy in Impel Down that his haki improved ( this seems to point out that one always puts a bit of Haki in attacks, or something...).

And as for King Haki, why does one necessarily have to have it? As far as we know, you can only knock out fodder with it! As long as there aren´t other advantages to it, it isn´t THAT great...
If you´re really good in Color of Armament Haki, you´re just nigh unstoppable (With the right skills, of course!)

And if I remember correctly, on that ship was an old woman, don´t think Enel has anything to do with this...

King Haki is more than just the stare to knock out the weaklings. It's kind of a seal of approval saying that you are "great," that you have something in you that gets people to follow you or admire you. That usually translates to combat prowess, but in some cases it can mean that you just know how to rock it out.

From what I can recall, the fodder being knocked out isn't the only use for King Haki, it also leaves the stronger enemies shaken and surprised. Remember, the real use for King Haki is intimidation, fainting is just a side-effect for some particularly weak people.

Yeah intimidation and Sea King taming are cool perks, but as I said, you could get big without them as well - don´t want to understate their value, just saying... =D

btw..it seems like i had missed out few important info on those supernovas..where did u know that bonney actually runaway from her husband which is WG officer??also, how come did u connecting of capone abduction with enel ship..and even knew that there was old woman in that ''ship''??the only i cant memorize is there was old woman approaching urouge 'the monk' to offer umbrella when they arriving at ligthning island..I dont think its stated anywhere in manga bout bonney history and whether enel ship was mentioned at the NW..not sure whether inform in sbs or databook or anime..please enlighten me buddies..
