It would be funny to see Sanji to still have no bounty on his head after Enies Lobby arc and Sogeking or Nami has one.

There is a clear difference between the Alabasta incident and the incident in Enies Lobby. For one thing, the person who was wrong in Alabasta was Crocodile who at the time was under the command of the WG. If they told the world what Luffy had done, they would have had to tell everyone that a person under the command of WG had not only broken the law but was also corrected by a Pirate. Saying a Pirate (an enemy of the WG) was the one that saved the country while it was the WG that was wrong is simply incomprehensible and WG would lose all political power.

Now in Enies Lobby, Spandam had complete authority and was given permission to arrest Nico Robin. They were also able to take in Cutty Flam though past criminal actions. The two things are completely a OK to the world since they are considered dangerous entities. This time, Luffy and the crew not only rescued two highly wanted criminals, but they also broke into a top security area and declared war on the World Government. No matter what stand-point people look at it, the Pirates were the ones that were wrong this time. This makes the WG free to tell the world what the Strawhats have done but slightly editing the story without involving the CP9 (since they aren't supposed to exist)

i agree wit u. there is no way marines will reveal something that will make the marines look weak as hell. i mean it will be practically saying to every pirates out there that "we got our ass kicked by about 50 people and two sea monster and two giants so go out and do watever u guys want because we are weak as hell."

Well, they could have claim that the SHs have 600 ships and the marine were out numbered...

It is highly possible considering he was absent during the fight against the captains during the Buster Call. And Jyabura and Kalifa is in no condition to bear witness to the importance of his existence in the Strawhat Group.

All the world government has done so far is hide the Straw Hat pirate achievements and up the Reward on them.

First there was the Leading Pirate rings of East Blue, then there was defeat of the official Pirate God/Lord and his ring of conspiritors. Both times The crew's actions were muffled and the price on their heads increased.

I expect something similar to happen again this time, except at this point, Luffy has reached the inner-circle of the Pirate-lord Powers that Be and is impossible to ignore.

The last chapter blew me away, it might not be realistic but it felt really good all the same. I think it was a good tie up for moving the story forward. This is why I love this manga so much.

Personally at this point, I think Rob Lucchi should join the crew, but then he'd usurp Zolo's position as First mate of sorts in terms of strength. It's rather confusing trying to predict which person will be the new member, since both Franky and the other robes guy seem to have good qualities. Saddly though, I also feel Franky is the most likely to join up at this point, his "family" proving themselves capable enough.

I think the C-Pol 9 was a good enemy with several good villians. I heartilly enjoyed this arc. The previous Cloud City arc(as I call it) just felt like a big near-pointless interlude. It was fun, but I was itching to get to the good stuff we have now.

Same here, I'm always itching to get to the good stuff that comes between arcs. But why Rob Lucci joining? I wouldn't want a guy like that to join the crew, and would take franky any day, though I didn't like him much either at first.

WG won't keep silent about this fact, just for fearing to show weakness; reasons:
-everyone knows that there are pirates who're stronger than any marine
-they already claimed robin had destroyed 6 warships, just to justifie her bounty
-without a high bounty there isn't gonna be enough people after their heads
-it will look even worse if world's coming to know that the marine destroyd enies lobby, so they will have to blame SH for it

well it does seem that franky is going to join, but remeber what oda said that he would bring in someone from the alabasta saga i think it would be awesome if it would be pell

if it is not francky, why not kaku ?? but not lucci >.>
