Thread: Strawhats learning rokushiki

"Rokushiki" are special skills that are known only to the members of CP9 (and somewhat by Luffy) at the moment. These six abilities are:

1. Shigan, "finger gun".
A technique in which the user pushes their finger into their opponents body at very high speed, leaving a wound similar to a bullet wound.

2. Soru, "to shave".
A technique in which the user moves at very high speeds in order to avoid attacks, as well as to attack at higher speeds.

3. Tekkai, "iron mass".
A technique in which the user turns their body as hard as iron in order to nullify damage taken from attacks.

4. Geppou, "moon step".
A technique in which the user actually jumps off the air itself, allowing them to stay in the air for much longer than usual.

5. Kami-e, "paper drawing".
A technique in which the user makes their body go limp in order to avoid all attacks, and floats like a piece of paper.

6. Rankyaku, "storm leg".
A technique in which the user kicks out at very high speeds, greatly damaging their opponent, as well as slicing through walls.


Now, what's obviously going to happen is that the strawhats will learn how to use one or more of these Rokushiki-skills in order to win.
The question is which strawhat gains which power(s)?

don't get over ur head, you need unbelievable physical skills and strength in order to use roshiki.

What? I wan't talking about learning them myself. Did you even read the whole post?

well, Luffy already got Soru, ne?

and I think that Sanji will also master that since it involves kicking the ground 6+ times in a blink....?

Each of the techniques has a trick to it's use, so we'll learn what the trick is as we go.

Anyways, I doubt anyone but Luffy is going to pick up any extra skills, at least in terms of these skills.

I dont think anyone will learn anything, Sanji might pick up that slicing technique, since it involve kicking, but I highly doubt that. so in conclusion, luffy will pick up soru (already did) and thats that.

Zoro is always training. so i don't think that he will ever be weak. as far as fighting skills go he is the only one on the ship that his on par with luffy.

no it's not zoro's style 2 go n learn this thing that was founded by the enemy, plus it'll b lame if all the straw hat members r able 2 all do the same thing

I never said for zoro to learn roshiki. I said zoro is constantly training and as far as fighting and strength go he is on par with luffy, i never said he needs to learn roshiki. he is always coming with new techniques himself.

Of the 8 straw hats (i'm including franky although it hasn't been officially confirmed) Usopp and Nami i dont think will learn anything new, seeing as how they got their new weapons to fight with. Luffy already learned soru as many have stated above. I can't imagine Chopper using any one of the six techniques, and i dont believe Robins going to even fight for that matter. Franky seems strong enough with his cyborg upgrades so he's out of the picture as well. I do believe that theres a good chance that Sanji will learn the kicking technique of either moon walking or the lighting kick (but not both). And Zoro may learn tekkai, only reasoning for that being hes always strengthening his body and he can cut through steel, why not be able to become as hard as steel. Of course pure speculation and to be honest id like the straw hats to remain the same for the most part, but if Sanji is going to fight that guy with the dog devil fruit and 2200 dorouki (as some have guessed) I just dont know how hes going to do it. He almost broke Blueno's tekkai and he only had around 800 dorouki.
