Thread: Black beard and names

WEll, my first topic.

I was think about black beard. We all know that Oda like to name character after real people. Like luffy. If i remember well Black beard in real live was one of the strongest pirate and deadlyest. Does that mean that the black beard in One piece may not be a weak as we think?

do you really think he is a weakling ???

i consider him and his crew weaker than WB/ace, but still stronger than the majority of pirates or marines....
and at least at the level of luffy and co.....

screw this topic. what chapter does blackbeard show up in. i know he meets luffy right before he goes to skypiea so what number is it?

We meet sniper and champion from the Black Beard's crew in chapter 222. The Black Beard himsefl and his doctor show up in the next chapter(223). The whole crew is to be seen on pages 18 and 19 of chapter 234.

Really? I though the main character gets stronger, beats bad guy, bad guy retreats, gets stronger and they fight again

unless the guy is the ultimate badass, then the main character gets brutally beaten, gets stronger and challenges the guy again, but the bad guy wouldn't grow stronger from before
