Thread: Luffy GrandFather 396 -theory-

Well cheking 396 i saw Haguwa-ru D. Sauro that was Vice Admiral with aokjii so if we think that aokjii said " You are troublesome like your Grandfather" and as we saw Sauro left Marines Cause Olvia also Luffy helped Robin when aokjii tried to kill her. So i think Sauro is Luffy Grandfather

Of course this manga destroy my theory that Sauro was crew with Roger and Olvia was their archelogist.As we know Roger executed cause he learn everything about the 100 years of blank history.Actually One piece is the blank history he forced everyone to become pirates so someone could be able to learn what Roger learn from his trip.

You have no evidence! Theory needs evidence. You are just guessing.

Alright fine, don't cry. Aokiji did say Luffy's grandfather gave him trouble, but it doesn't mean Sauro is his granddad.
They have the same D., but so does Blackbeard, the pirate king, possibly Shanks and Whitebeard too. Lots of people have D. in their names.
Aokiji has been in the military for definitely over 20 years, and 20 years ago he was Vice Admiral. In 20 years, how many criminals do you think he fights? Also think about GolD. Roger.

actually a theory is something that is basically a glorified oppinion because if it had any real evidence that people could agree on it would be a fact not a theory. so if anyone trys to tell u a theory is the truth u could ask them to prove it and laugh as they try to explain there opinion of something they probably dont understand. beleive me it is fun.

NO NO NO NO NO

A theory is hypothesis with strong indications of truth. Otherwise it is just BS waiting for verification. A theory can never be proven. That is a fact, because 1 mistake in a theory renders it false, even if it's been correct for billions of cases. A theorem, however, can be proven true and can never be proven false, because it is a principle of logic, and is proven by calculation with other theorems or postulates. Postulates are safely accepted to be true because there is impossible prove them false, although also impossible to prove true as well.

so based on what u said u basically beleive things that you only partially remember from an article or book writen by somebody you dont know explaining something that they thought could sell not nessicarily be true in a way you probably didnt understand. where as the information came from a scientist who often times have financial incentives to skew things to a certain view. so unless you did the double blind studies yourself the stuff you think you know is something you only actually beleive. now while there are some things like repeat results and peer reviews but the truth is they could easily skew things to there view to make people think they know things even though it is not true. so unless you can prove it to people using all the technology and machines the scientists claimed they use its only a beleif not something you know. so science is almost like a religion if u think about it.

Well we must wait until Oda create the manga with some precius information that will clear up the family tree.(You forgot that Roger borned at another city?)

I'm completely aware that scientists can cook the books, and I'm aware some scientists actually do that for monetary gain. However, most scientists research for the sake of science and are always skeptical about each other's results.

And yes, complete faith in science would be a religion. Fortunately, scientists (and I) will not put complete faith in our studies, since theories break all the time.

You know what. I admit it. I'm flawed. I often think I'm right when I'm horribly wrong. I rely on an inaccurate memory of mine to think, so any team mates I work with always cross their figures whenever I'm involved. I'm not sure how to help myself.

and sauro is a little bit TOO tall to be luffy's grandfather... :P

I think Luffy's past will be revealed in time, but he has some serious ass kicking to do first. When the sensei is ready to tell us, he'll may just have some good story-arc starring Ace' and Luffy's parents or something.. I hope it will be as good as I can see it in my mind! If not, I need to sit down with Word and make a fanfic!! lol
