Was Shanks and White beard nominated for Shichibukai? Thats what I gathered from the conversation, but I'm not good at this -_-

Also, do you think Crocodile was the weakest of the Shichibukai? Since my experience with shounen mangaas are, the later they appear, the stronger they are

nah i dont think crocodile was the weakest, i just think luffy lucked out alot. luffy should have died 3 times while fighting croc but survived each time, thats not from skill, thats dumb luck. sure ppl argue that hes only powerful in desert areas, but thats not true since dirt is made of sand so croc could use his powers almost anywhere.

Jinbei is like Arlong in Power but I think wat gave him the key 2 become a Shichibukai is the fact that he's probably crueler n more cunning than Arlong.... n mayb even stronger........since Arlong was his 1st mate...I believe that Physically Jinbei is much stronger than Arlong n has developed some powerful technique with him being a merman n all.....

Ummmm Croc is the weakest. As far as we know he's had the lowest bounty. Whether or not they stop it early because he bacame a shichibukai he (I belive and think am right) was the weakest. You guys can't say anything about Jinbei because we've never seen him yet.

And no Shanks and White Beard were not nominated for Shichibukai, not even close. Pay attention man. The conversation between WB and Shanks was about them having a truce or something I forgot. But what the marines were dicussing about was stopping those two from meeting each other at all cost. Never did they mention about them being Shichibukai.

Luffy got underestimated big time by Croc. Also he should have died but got lucky. However, Luffy also lucked out in finding croc's weakness...and won because of it and his endurance. Maybe the other shui...(forgot the name) dont have luffy's endurance so croc can beat them.

How sad though. Croc has like a double weakness to water...

White Beard and Shanks are planning to meet at the Pirate Summit. That's all we know. Pay attention. These things shouldn't have to be stated explicitly for us to be able to notice them.

The Marine's Grand Admiral (or whatever his rank is), had the Shichibukai meet to disscuss that meeting. Judging by that, White Beard and Shanks are probably at a higher level than the Shichibukai and represent a severe threat to the World Government in terms of both power and knowledge.

You gotta remember though, if they explain everything to us and make it too simple it becomes boring. You know the kind, we've all seen bad anime and manga that looks like its made for 5 year olds. You're right though, they weren't really clear about what was going on.
