Thread: Why is One Piece so underrated?

One piece is one of the best mangas and animes out there yet for some reason people are always knocking it and are always putting it at the bottom of all animes and mangas. Why??

One of the reson could be that the english dub suck and makes it sound kiddish. Because of it some people may think it suck and ranking it low.

The main reason is the drawing. When you first catch glimps of it, it seems like a kids show. So most people don't even bother

so true so true......you really only need to read like one stinking line of the manga and your hook.

well, its only underrated in america and europe...u guys just had enough of pirates and stuff...

in europe and america, Naruto is way overrated. in asia, OP is more popular than naruto.

True, around here Naruto is very popular, but I like One Piece much better, my favourite anime, then come the others.

Where I live I have to watch the dutch programs if I want to see the anime, but I like reading the manga better, so they still didn't get here...

First time posting... hello everybody

on the subject, I live in Uruguay, in South America, and I haven't seen anything about OP before i read the manga, and i loved it since the first darned line, down here Naruto is also sooo popular but more people is beggining to look at OP, the one thing this manga have is that you may think it is just fights and funny stuff but there's a lot of serious messages underneath it (Be yourself, you can't take away other's people freedom, etc, etc)
