Dragon is just one name. Therefore I don't think he is one of the D:s.

i thought about the pronounciation difference, but didn't they call roger, GOLD ROGER in the anime, instead of gol-di-ro-ger..

LOL SOME ppl just make assumptions with their limited knowledge and are so sure of themselves...

I thought this theory is actually quite clever, i would not be surprised if Oda heads in this direction.

Maybe it explains the epic storm in Loguetown too? I mean, I'd like to think that in terms of the story it was fate. Luffy has inherited something that fate itself protects to a degree or something. But what if Dragon does possess the power of a Devil Fruit based on Wind, and he brought that ungodly huge storm down on the town for whatever reason? Then again, the storm was foreshadowing, and you aren't supposed to have a character in a story purposefully create foreshadowing, it makes no sense.

Bah, I dunno. I just love all the subplots in this manga.

D.Ragon? this is getting interesting heh it's a nice theory. Didn't actualy think much about it, since he apeared only once, guess he didn't catch my attention much, I was too focused on what was to come.

We aren't insulting on accents, it could actualy be a theory, I mean they got us with the whole 'Gold Rogers'.

I don't agree with the "D-Ragon" theory. As said before, the D. is something in the middle of 2 names:

Portuguese D. Ace

Marshall D. Teach

Monkey D. Rufy (italian version is Rufy :P )

Gold D. Roger
