    Default Straw - hat name

i don't know why everyone call straw hat with the name Luffy or lueffy or something similar, this must be an erroneous translation, because his name is

    MONKEY D. RUFY

oda answer a fan that ask him from where the names of the main characters came from, and he says: " the name RUFY come from the term RUFFIAN that in the pirate era have sometime designed the pirates", in the same page he says " the name Gold Roger find his origin in Jolly Roger, the name of the pirates's flag and in Gold.

the answer is in one of the pages between the chapters, these pages are only in the originale volumes, and are not translated by the scanlators.

Becouse... we like it? Besides- on most OFFICIAL ARTS it keeps saying "Luffy" , so I dont get it... Im used to call him Luffy and I really dont mind if anyone use "Rufy" , "Rufi", "Lueffy" or whatever, as long as its not insult and we know who are we talking about...

    End of topic.

Rufy is gay and so are you. Why should we change the way his name is said, when we're already so comfortable with Luffy.
