Thread: Everybody seems to love one piece a lot...

I've been reading it (and I'm at around chap. 162)..and ever since the arlong fight, things have only been mildly interesting. Sure, there's been some humor and the part at the snowy island with chopper was pretty good, but other than that it hasnt been super interesting. So jw...what do you guys like about one piece, and is the manga going to pick up at a faster pace soon? Thanks...

Slows down, yea, but as soon as you get pretty close to crocdile and all that, it really picks back up again for the end of the arc.

What I like about one piece is that it becomes better and better.

One piece is the most enticing manga that continues to allude the reader further and further....as the manga goes deeper and deeper. ONE PIECE IS GOD's work.

It's good cause it's original. Artwork=Original. Characters=Original. Ideas=Original. It's a good series cause you can read it without any worries. Plus it comes out ALMOST every week.And to top it off, Luffy is probably the best manga character ever invented. The way he behaves is perfect for a main character. I don't think I've read a single chapter of One Piece that I didn't like.

Why am I third on the list of Steal Dragon clan memebers? Goddammit, I think I'm gonna have to quit. This is mistreatment. I'm getting my ass emancipated.

Someday I'll have to get back to reading One Piece.
I stopped after the Alabasta arc and I never really had a desire to continue the anime, so I opted for the manga, but the scanlations were so tacky in the earlier chapters that I didn't even bother reading them.
Eh, if I ever become bored I'll start reading the manga again.
