Everybody seems to love one piece a lot...

yeah manga is better than anime , good shounen manga
but ı didn't like all the charecters in one piece
has orphan (all luffy's crew didn't has a family) ı thought oda has smpaty for orphan childs

and it s a ironi for luffy a pirate but never swam
for all life

, lots of good stuff(pirates life,treasures,monsters,good storyline,perfect charecters)

heh because of this this saga will go 5-10 years on with us

the story is really nice, and there are a lot of plot twists to keep it as interesting,
robin is cute,
the drawings are weird but in the same time unbelievably good,
and other things... ^^

The best part is that it is Oda's FIRST!!! series! Imagine what he will give us in the future! I am so excited! Artists like Oda-sensei have no limits.

Ha ha, me neither. So I actually started reading this on Vol. 20 b/c the most decent scan jobs start around there and despite being lost with the plot and what the gang is up to, I still loved this shit. It's actually like Jojo's Bizarre Adventure ( and why not, they're both shonen ) by way of the characters having many different powers and the fights are all tricks ( bad guys ) vs. raw strenght ( good guys ) and the good guys outwitting the baddies with whatever small resources they got.

This manga is good shit.

You know, I never compared it to Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. I've always thought of One Piece more as the Akira Toriyama of the next generation.

Note*-For those of you who don't know, Akira Toriyama is the genius behind Dr. Slump, Dragonball (Not Dragon Ball GT), Neko Majin X, and a few otehr one-volume series.

OP is the most balanced manga i've ever read...and i read lots XD probably best overall manga so far. the original is even better(if u can read)

one piece is really great. when it first came out, my sister was the one reading it, and i didnt even give one piece a chance since i considered it to be a kids manga from the drawings. but when one day i borrowed her shonen jump and read it, i got hooked. and now one piece is one of my favorite mangas.
