Thread: Robins Past

So any predictions? we already know that she destroyed a bunch of marine ships when she was a kid but up untill the current chapters it has remained a compleate mystery.
All of the Strawhats have horrarble pasts, but I think Oda was saving all his tearjerking skills for this one. Im guessing this is going to be more emotional than Namis or Choppers.

They're after the giant, she fights them after they use Buster Call, they learn who she is and what she's capable of, and then she escapes.

I think the marines originally are looking for the giants, but they noticed robin's likeness to her mother. So they followed up on her and discovered the archaeologists and their studies. The giant try to help robin and the archaelogists, the marine get their ass kicked and thus comes the buster call. Robin survives, and one of the archaeologist tells her about the ancient weapon before he die. Robin escapes from the island right before it is wiped out.

seems really likely to me

the giant helps robin to escape the buster call, but is killed in the process...

i think the same as shautieh, because the giant is searched for something. but there's no proof that sauro be rufy's grandfather.

There is a proof that suaro ISNT luffys grandfather. Sauro is a Giant,so unless Luffys 3rd gear would be turning into a giant, it isnt possible that he is his grandfather...Besides,can you imagine how would look sex between Sauro and random human woman?

The robins past crap is pissing me off....I wanna see straw hats vs. CP9! So unless robins past has penguins in it I'm going to take a nap.....tell me when the good part starts again...

would certainly explain Luffy freaking out about his grandfather, eh? and if it is his grandfather, then We'll get to see that explained at the same time, I think.

My guess: giant giant fruit.

what's wrong with this topic, it starting from robin's past and then leap to sauro.

I think robin's past mabe the darkest past from all mugiwara crew has.

And from sauro, i think he has a bloodline connection with Luffy, he can be his uncle-grandpa or something.

And i start to think the D. is not just a usual family name, maybe . . .
