Thread: Newbie wants to say Hi!

Hi folks!

I´m reading this Forum for quite some time now.
I should better keep my purely personal opinion on some postings for myself. But in general I have to say going through it has been very helpful to understand more about One Piece.

Before I discovered this Site, I´ve been restricted to watching the series on TV. Since I´m german it took some while to get the names, etc. right (Luffy is called Ruffy and Going Merry is called Flying Lamb here), but I expect to have a cool time with you guys here.

Nevertheless, I would also say something about the future of the series.
After their fight with CP9 and the expected increase in everyones bounty (I agree with most of you in this topic) I would love to see how their old companions react to that.
I´m thinking about: Cpt Smoker, Luffys village, Nami´s people, Sanji´s old boss, Doc Coleur (?) - Choppers old lady, Shanks and maybe also some of their enemies like Buggy and the croc.
You know like the moment when Mihawk presented it to Shanks (I still think this came out better in the anime series - it showed more emotions about it).
I think you get the picture.

What to you think about this idea?

yea, though some people might not like it I would like to see a filler show that shows what many of the people they've met are upto (not sure if it would be able to fit in only one episode though). Though I doubt this will happen with the manga but the anime might do it.

I didn't really start posting on the forums when I first started reading the manga on the site and I only do it on occasion now and days. It's fun to get other peoples opinins at times when no one around you reads a particular manga, also it helps if your looking for specific information.
