Thread: DF reflects the strength of the user

I've been thinking and I've concluded that the strength of logia fruits depends on the user. Not all logia fruit users can be as powerful as we've seen. Crocodile, Eneru and smoker don't only possess strong DF but also incredible combat abilities. Look at how many hits Crocodile took from luffy when one of his punches could knock out ten men?

Eneru,even weak against rubber put up a great fight. So the point is that if General Aokiji could freeze the surface of the ocean, but even with his ability neutralised like that of eneru, Aokiji is still physically stronger than luffy, theoretically.

okay going back to what Lucci said some time back, forgot which chapter, Zoan type are best at closer range, and get stronger as that person trains. Bases on this, you can assume it possible that Zoan type can eventually get stronger then logia. I expect paramecia tyoe works the same way, (with diffent type of training i guess)

Logia from the look of it is just Insanly powerful at the moment you eat it. However, from the looks of it, the chances of one progressing that power further is pretty low. So Logia will not, get any stonger then they already are.

taking this into account, the strength of logia type is not depended on the user own pyshical ability. Also I expect it will be rare for paramecia and Zoan type user to surpass Logia, but not impossible.....Enter Luffy. Unlike logia, Zoan and paramedia still can grow.

Logia : powerful but no potential growth.
Zoan : potenial lies mostly in it user pyshical strenght. (I think) And some in techiques
Paramecia : Potential lies in it (mostly) techniques and some in pyshical strenght.

it was a bit unfortunate that eneru has to face luffy of all the people...think of it, eneru only weakness is something that doesnt conduct electricity...rubber(stone still conduct a little amount i think) -_-; just happen that he has to face his worse enemy -_-; if he's down on earth, he do be god...this is a pirate manga...and they travel by water! electric owns all

i dont think thats true. logia has lots of potential, look at croc he had many different moves he developed with his DF that kicked luffy's ass (e.g. sand control, sand transformation, water obsorbtion etc). The only reason luffy beat him is because luffy is far more supiour in dumb luck. plus we cant really tell how much potential these logia users have since all of them have been very powerful and experienced ppl compared to luffy so they have already developed alot of that potential. i think the real reason luffy is defeating these strong foes isnt because of his DF's hidden potential but because of his strong will to fight and limitless dumb luck.

eneru lost only due to his lack of combative spirit....
even with his anti-electricity fruit, luffy would have lost if eneru had a strong will like him...

doesnt that apply to maybe 90% of manga out there? lol luffy always fight with someone stronger...but fighting's will wins him...naruto always suck...lol but he can beat a genius...goku always get beat up so bad..but win most battle...rave master too? lol...u get my point

you are in denial my friend

DF power(logia) is apply to the user's imagination of the DF power(meaning that they take best advantages of their elements) and ofcourse experience and training.

best way to actually see who's stronger in logia type would probably have opposite element fights. different situation and location varies also..

example: have aoi kiji fight ace. if ace's power is "that" powerful, then he can melt kiji's ice and beat him....or other way around, if kiji out power ace, he can literally freeze ace up because ace fire power is not strong enough to melt his ice..

but let's say we take away their logia powers, then would crocodile/ eneru/ aokiji still be stronger than luffy?
