Skypiea is a long time ago already, and in this current arc, Usopp has shown tremenous growth already. He already proved himself to be a very capable fighter, as long he has time to prepare and plan. (refer usopp vs Luffy battle) He manage to do well enough on the sea train on the recsue of robin too.

As for being rude, what do you care, unless your the retard that decide to make shitty repeated tread like this agian. I don't make fun of people who has thier own valid opinions, but if the topic has already been done, then you deserve a swift kick to the head. People who haven't taken 2 second to use the search function should be slap.

Yup,Usopp isn't weak. But comparing to CP9 he is nothing but trash. luffy could beat Blueno b'cause he could raise his ability by his "2nd gear". But Usopp by what...? Is it possible if he just use his Dial?

Every heard of the saying "There always more then one way to skinned a cat?" Being able to pump 2000 lb worth of weights or going into gear 2 aren't the only way to beat someone. Usopp will never be Melee range fighter, he will never win agianst a reasonable enemy just using his fist.

Usopp greatest strenght are his sniping skills and mind. Do you think When Usopp fought Luffy, he didn't prepare at all? Usopp very intellently plan out the battle, from using the rotten egg to cover the gas smell, Tabasco star to burn his mouth, Pepper bomb to triggering sneezing, all the while placing caltrop beneath Luffy feets. All of that take planning, and that how Usopps fights. Infact, all of his dials and stars is the most intellent way of fighting out of all the straw hats. If not that, among the most versitle.

Stop trying to prove Usopp is weak kets2000. Strenght is not simply define as a person's muscle mass.

But I was so dissapointed when ussop got beaten up by the frankys IT tore my heart up, he actually tried and got beaten. When he went against franky hiself, he got beaten up again I think ussop is better than that

I think Usop will make new invention since he have genius brain. Btw i usop leave, straw hat will lost their canoon crew

Yes he did fight the Frankiesmore than one. Of course he would lose. No doubt in my mind he would win. But I garentee you if instead of rushing in like he did and just keeping his distant snipin them out and planning his attack he would've taken them all out.

To further elaborate I think that the battle between Usopp and the Frankies wasn't 'fair'. Usopp was WAY out of his element, meaning a carefully planned fight at long distances.

One of the things that makes the manga so enjoyable is that the characters have weaknesses, flaws and real faults. However, they overcome these and persevere.

If Usopp got a DF I think I'd be very sad since they basically changed one of the main characters.

I'm kindda new here, and i have been reading a lot of what you guys wrote before. i would like to add up something here...

Didn't any of you noticed that in the new colored poster of "Straw hats VS CP9" ussop is not only wearing his weird mask, but ALSO a green staff with some kind of round-catapult thingy?? if he can modify Nami's Clima tact with Dials, why couldn't he take advantage of the Dials power himself??

And also i agree that he doesn't need any DF powers, could you posibbly think of any kind of DF suitable for a SNIPER? if such DF does exist he obviously doesn't need his catapult or any long-ranged weapon anymore, and so that would make it silly for him to be called a SNIPER then. doesn't it?

I agree. Usopp is very unique character, but if he ate DF he would be... well, just another DF user.
