Thread: beating the Buster Call

I'll offer my theory on how the Straw Hat can beat the buster call, should it comes to that.

1) The Buster Call sound like something that take a lot of time to organize and sent out. Finding All three Admirals, is probaby a hugh task itself. And then they have to make they're way to the meeting point to. It could possibly takes weeks. So even is the buster call is sent, they have to find Straw hats. Cause Luffy and the Gang not gonna stick around Eines Lobby after they rescue Robin and Franky. And considering the Straws Hat are only made of a group of 7 (maybe 8 after this arc, it like finding a needle in a haystack.

2) The straw hat are likely to seek refuge in Water 7 and Gallery-la after Eines Lobby for a while.(Like they did in Alberta) No marine or would dare invoke the buster call on the that city, cause
A. It too important to the marines, the Gallery-la Company is a major, if not sole supplier of ships for the marines
B. It would involve too many innocent people. Water 7 is a hugh and populated city... it impossible for the marines to distroy Water 7, and not have the whole world know about it.
C. Chances are the citizan of Water 7 already know about Luffy and how he actually help rescue Iceberg. And Iceberg, being the hero in everyone eyes in Water7, will not cooperate with the Marines. In relieving the location of the Straws Hat and everyone involve in Eines Lobby raid.

3) Without a doubt, Gallery'la will built a fast and sturdy ship for the Straw Hats, probaby better and faster then any Marines ship. (Of course I wouldn't doubt that it will have the Going Merry figure head on it too, sentimentals) In which case, with Nami's superior ability to navigate, they should easily out run then parade of ships of the buster call. Beside, the Straw hats gonna get a new ship, even he wouldn't want to break a new toy on the first day he gets it (maybe). So taking thier new ship agianst, a crap load of warship would be insane.

As for the Straw hat them selve taking in the full force of the Buster call head on... atm, I doubt that, they had to flee agianst black cage Hina. Althought the straw Hat power considerable went up at since then, i really doubt the Straw hats has the destructive power to distroy an entire island like the Buster Call can. They have to flee.

Strawheads won´t hide. And marines don´t give a damn about innocent people.

The buster call destroyed whole island after all, and I don´t think they were uninhabited.

I think they they don't care about ppl, but rather they HAVE to. The marine are control by the government, the governement power relies heavily on the citizen and it support. If you become unpopular with your citizen, your political drop.

It like the army nuking New York city to kill a small group of terrorist in living in the city.


THe Straw hat won't run and hide? Then what were they doing hiding in Albetsa, running from smoker, hina's fleets, etc etc.... I can go on. It not like running like the end of the whole.

Luffy was inferior to Smoker and Dragon intervened and said he should flee.
Luffy progressed a lot since the fight with Aokiji and Smoker, you can´t say he would hide and you can´t say they would immediately use the buster call nor how he would stand against the supreme admirals.

reckless as he maybe, Luffy has never willing to involved innocents if he can help it... He has to flee, the fact of him being there will involve to many people. There abosulty no reason for Luffy to take on the Buster Call and taking on Aojiki plus 2 other powerful admiral Plus having to worry about 10 warships and such. If seem to forget... not that much time has actually past since the straw hat met with aojiki. (luffy spent 3-4 week recovering, and then a couple week sailing until they reach Water 7, and the whole adventure in water 7, from start to finish, is actually only been 3-4 day tops.) About a month time have pass. The Straw hat are not ready for the Buster yet. No matter how much powerful they become. 1 month of power up would match up with a lifetiem worth... not just yet.

Going back to before, Dragon told Luffy to flee, what did he do? He listen. It doesn't change the fact that Luffy fled from smoker.

They didn´t just fleed because of smoker, reread the chapter.

That wanna to head to the Grandline, I know... but they force to leave LougeTown earlier. Smoker is chasing them, Tagashi is chasing them, marines are chasing them, buggy and aldvida is chasing them, too much people are chasing them, of course they would flee. Luffy don't fight for the sake of fighting, if that the case, he would never run. If you gonna keep arguing about whether or not Luffy would run or not, present history and situation is not help you at all.

Anyway your whole argument is that the Straw Hats won't flee, but I have yet see any arguement from you that support that theory. Unless you can offer one, I'm gonna subject you to some more riducle.

You came up with the buster call after all and are sayingthat Luffy woudln´t stand a chance, so maybe you should explain this.
We don´t even now when this buster call will be used.

You shoudln´t forget that the marines in Louge Town tried to burn the golden marry down.

please stop arguing... the smartest fighter knows when to run away jeez
i think that the marines will not use the buster call... no reason and if it is called upon i think the generals will not do it

what reason do you need ??? with what they are doing now, they deserve the buster call...
don't take me wrong.. : maybe the marine will not call it upon the strawhats, but they couldn't possibly do more to deserve it...

and i don't see why the generals wouldn't want .... ... don't forget ao kiji gave his approval for spandam to use it if necessary... so why would he refuse then ??

ps: golden marry = going merry = etc. .. isn't it obvious ?
