My mind's gone blank... Who was Jimbel?
Are we talking about Jimbei? The Whale-shark of the shichibukai?
Jinbei is a member of the Shichibukai and is a gyonin (fishman). Jinbei in Japanese means "whale shark".
He's only been mentioned once by name and there is no image of him.
then how u all knw there is such person in One Piece and 1 of the Seven Sea God? nvr see him then how u all get the info of his present in One Piece?

Here's an interesting little tidbit... If he says that Arlong is as strong as Jinbei, then how is it that Jinbei is one of the Shichibukai? 'Cause Arlong was weak in comparison to all the other pirates after the Arlong Park arc
Uh... no...
Don Kreeg wasn't even in the league of Arlong. And Jinbei had Arlong as a henchman. He's probably on the level of Dragon in terms of power. Though what that is I don't know.
Couple of reasons: One, from a writing standpoint this came way before much of what we've experienced and the terrifying foes they've met, Oda was just writing that to make Arlong as fierce and scary as Mihawk, which at the time Arlong was the most terrible villain they'd encountered.Quote:

I mean the way people talked about the Grand Line, I expected a scary world where no one lived in piece, but it turns out there are whole islands full of happy people living their lives out. As a writer of short stories myself, stuff like this happens all the time, where things we conceptualize in the beginning don't always turn out exactly as we had originally said.
That's always a plausible explanation. And quite a likely one, too. I just thought it was odd...
