But the new ones havn't seen it from the beginning(most of them). But they still know what's going on when they first start reading. That's how random it is. This is part of why american comics generally suck.
Just imagine if SJ changed writers and artists for OP

i bet the pirate summit is a mass tea party of over
1 000 000 pirates discussing very important matters such as the weather or current events. then ofterwards they play a nice game of rummey or lawn bowling

I thought the One Piece being 1/2 over quote was from over a year ago?

Next I can see the Pirate Summit, some shit to do with the ancient tongue that will tie into the One Piece. After that another big fight with the World Gov., Fight against a big army of enemy pirates then everything gets wrapped up nicely.

I wonder when we will get a update to the passage of time in the OP world, as I have that problem with alot of manga, where it becoems impossible to tell how much time has passed.

It only sucks if the story quality drops, as long as it remains high quality I'm willing to read it for another year or five.

when I said half way,I was thinking in numbers of islands they have visited. not numrical chapter hlaf way. they could have some small island things going on like the islands visited during the alabasta arc. like seeing the homeland of the giants, or a place to get a musician. kind of like that, not meaning there are 400 more chaptersw to go, or the numbers of chapters they have been on the grand line.

Well.....This libary is for first one third of one Pieca.The middle part is still being transported by those 6 trucks,and the they are still loading last third in the japanese shipyard...Ya know it is quite hard to move 12640 volumes...
