Thread: is still Buggy gang still a match for the straw hats?

im wondering because buggy still poping up in the manga , the straw hats are very strong now but we havent see if buggy gang has develop after all they are now gran line pirates (are least they are not dead)

Unless I'm wrong Buggy's already been to the grand line before he fought Luffy. But he's still pathetic yet somewhat cool.

you really think buggy hasn't been adventuring and getting strong just like luffy? When they meet again, i bet Buggy and Alvida will be insanely strong

i believe buggy will some how make it close to one piece and then some terrible fate will fall on him........some thing like that but i doubt he will get any stronger

We havent really seen what Alvida's capable of since she ate that DF. We only get a small glimpse of her power. (Didnt a boulder bounce off her or something?)
Surely Buggy's got stronger, and Id be interested to see what new moves Kabaji has. But Id still love to see Zoro whip his ass again. And Ill bet Buggy got a couple new crewmates too. I cant wait for the rematch. CANT WAIT GODDAMNIT!!!! HURRY UP ODA!!!! ITS BEEN NEARLY 300 chapters!!!!

Alvida wasn't hit by just any common garden variety rock, she was hit by a spire. If she had been normal, even with all that fat, she would've been run through and so will be the person behind her. SO her ability is like luffy's but protects her from sharp things

i guess we'll have to wait for the final chapters to find out

I cant really imagine Cabaji winning agaist Zoro, or Mohji being equal to Sanji or Chopper (they are both good match to them).
That leaves Buggy and Alvida - well, Alvida was weak without DF agaist Luffy, but now its different. And remember- Buggy was the first tough opponent they met (Alvida and Morgan got wiped out easily), and I doubt it will just stay like that...

Also- if I remember well, Buggy has some issues with Shanks and it would be cruel not to let him challange him again (just to get beaten by "almighty Red Haired One handed Shanks")
