i think one piece is probably just a whole bunch of memories left behind by Gol D. Roger, like his most cherishable pictures and stuff like that. also including some money gold, but most importantly his memories. althought it sounds corny, i think that's what it is. :-p
I think it's just one piece of Gold.
I think it will be a huge collection of gold, however there will be some other mysterious things there such as the true history. There will basicly be something important to all of the crew members there.

One coin makes sense, since its called "one piece" IMO. But I dunno if its that simple, maybe its:
-devil fruit- the most powerful of all
-weapon- like ship, cannon, sword- who knows
-Gol D roger's souvenir- like his shirt, cap or other thing that had a great meaning in his life
-tons of tons of gold- ok, that one is just too simple, but maybe it really is what it seems
-HIMSELF!!
Well, the last thing is a little strange, but... maybe he had DF power that makes him somewhat able to ressurect in that place... Well, maybe, maybe not, we dont know.
I think it's what he said it is "everything I own is in one piece" therefore everything he owns is in one piece.
I donīt thing it has material value, perhaps the grave of his deceased wife?

Maybe he just wanted to start the pirate era to detrone the world government, because he knew there will be someone like him who suceed?
I think its all the things he collected through his adventure which is everything. SInce i tihnk he went to every single island so one piece probably have everything that anyone wanted... map of all blue ( sanji) true history , some great sword ... just everything i guess
