Default One Devil Fruit Two Powers

After reading 383, i began to wonder the limits of Luffy's DF. He can stretch his body parts and obsorb the impact of any firearms with his DF.

The thing i'm wonder about is Luffy's body strength. The fact that he's just a skinny teenager who became strong because of a DF contradicts with his super human strength. We never see him lift weights and he doesnt have a muscular body. I recall a couple of times in the anime where he singel handedly stopped someone's sword/some kind of melee weapon and crushed rocks or something with his bare hands without using his DF ability.

Does this mean that Luffy's devil fruit no only gave his body elasticity but also super human strength???

I'm not voting on this one because we have no idea how luffy's df affected his internal mmusculature and tendons as all they really do is expand and contract. Besides the kid has heart.

ps obviously his skeleton is now elastic as well maybe even a form of cartilage similar to many sharks.

That's got nothing to do with his strenth.
It's that he builds up more force from the impact of his rubber, not the natural strength he has, which is next to none.

THe examples given the single handedly stopping and crushing rocks not to mention what happened to Binami had next to nothing to do with impact they are all feats of raw strenght.

When I read this Tread I just though "OMG the author wasn't thinking about stuff like this" so there isn't an answer to this question. At least I guess so.

It isn't really well thought out a better question would be regarding the nature of side effects of devil fruits, we know there can be negative side effects for example being unable to swim and some occasional cosmetic changes but what about positive ones.

he has been training since he was a little kid.... so even if we don't see it, he is strong

and what his muscles can't do, his tenacity and willpower do it instead ^^

True. Luffy has been training in 10 years before he set sail to be the king of pirates (or tries to). it could be seen in the first volume pg 48. he trained both his raw power and his devil fruit ability. also with every fight and every battle, he grow stronger.
and we could see in the CP9. that they have the six form power which they learn and train and they have DF power too. have DF power and master the sixform (harder task) accomplished by the CP9. have DF power and train in streght (easier task)... it's a given that Luffy could have done it.
Back to the question: yes it is possible for a DF to have two powers. in the GRANDLINE anything is possible.

But wouldn't that defeat the purpose OF the df's? I mean really... that's like what they do on gay little tv show where the enemy has twice the natural power plus a df no one's heard of that's twice whatan average one is...
...yet they always find a way.

theorically, if a rubber being pull and stretch it going to give a big impact on which direction it pointing to.

so, even if he is skinny, that doestnt really count.
