Thread: Your own Pirate Crews

Yay social groups! New forum software allows us to make and monitor our own social groups... naturally the first thing I thought of is One Piece has tons of threads with "Create-A-Fruit" and whatnot (because I made them *giggle*) so why not make it official and have the members get together and make their own crews through the new social group function. You could make your own flags and name your crew and captains could ... well to be honest I've no idea what you could actually do with these crews/groups but hey, the thread is for the idea... what do you think?

PS. I call dibs on Gravity fruit and Nogard Pirates.

PPS. Yes I totally ripped this from Kaom. She should have brought it here first since this forum is so much better suited for it than Naruto =P

no fruit for me plz^^ (I swim for a college team...i enjoy it too much^^)

I fight with throwing knives, a Bo-staff, Taekwondo and I'm a marksman^^

As for what we could do, who knows? i'm sure we can think of something. Maybe we could figure out some sort of competition set up where the groups fight it out vs one another?

I know this is also *VERY* outta place at a manga discussion forum but maybe we could set up some sort of rp situation? say place it any number of years after the one piece time span so that way people can lay claim to their favorite devils fruits without canon issues?

As for fruit assignment you never know what your gonna get when you eat the fruit^^ could we maybe come up with some sort of random generator that could divy out the devil's fruit powers? otherwise we will have people fighting over the Logia types me thinks

I am not up to date with the new forum features but it seems to be a nice idea !

Each pirate (or marine/revolutionary) crew could make a unique thread here and post in it while they would keep their private stuff within their groups (via PMs or whatever is available now). It might be fun for several groups to encounter and fight (new, temporary threads could be created for these instances ??) but I am not sure it will work :s At least it is possible if people are interested.


edit : would be nice if we could have one one piece group, and then could create sub-groups for each crews... Does someone know if it is possible ?

well it sure is a good Idea,but I don´t know if there are enough OP fans here xD

The quality is more important than the quantity ;p
But anyway the goal isn't to transform this forum into a huge role play one and being in a crew shouldn't be a daily pain in the ass.
