Actually, after Zoro's fight with hawkeye his injuries did stay along for the arlong arc.
So he might have them for this arc before he loses them again. =P

yeah, plus zoro's injuries was meant to be extensive, the injuries that the strawhats normally get are supposed to be bad, but not THAT bad. Zoro's injuries from the last chapter was his own + luffy's and it's meant to show us zoro's dedication to luffy and the crew, so I really think it might last a while.

I don't remember any long-lasting effects of this. He was badly injured but once he got recovered and got stitched up, he was already training as if everything was fine. Maybe I am mistaken.

    you're mistaken

you are though, zoro had a really bad/deep slash(could be 2 slashes?) across his chest that he got from mihawk during the baratie arc, and it was clearly affecting him in the arlong arc. He started the fight looking sick, he fell down and nearly fainted just by standing there etc.

eh I don't think zoro will be out of the action completely though, he just won't be able to fight at full strength, but Oda will still make him kickass to show us just how badass zoro is.

about zoro, the 494 chapter shown he was badly injured...I am sure he will face consequences when he will have to fight stronger opponents !

I still think if Zoro was at full strength, he could have taken Arlong. He and Sanji both could now.
