thanks terasiel I always hate explanations in these shonen mangas. I always just skip it and assume its magic.

You can assume its magic, but explanations in One Piece are not bad at all and everything is really coherent, though it's obvious that if you apply a law which doesn't exist it will seem really weird...

Oh I agree. One Piece is good at applying logic to its powers and certain other Grandline related phenomenon (ex. knock-up stream), but at the same time (and I guess that Air Gear was the first manga I noticed myself ignoring explanations) it doesn't really matter. One of the reasons I love anime in general is the fact that it draws you into a world where the unimaginable happens. So I guess that to me looking deeply into the physics of why something happens in an anime is ok to do, but it just takes something away at the same time.

Well, it's totally true but I would add that the real problem is people trying to apply physical laws the same way they apply IRL, which is kinda stupid... Some simply do no apply anymore, and most behave differently (while others are sometime added to the mix), so if someone want to speculate on something he has to use the specific laws of the manga !

Using specific laws on manga dosen't really matter. If Oda has the idea, its his decision to put it on or not.

Also, if Sanji can do Diable Jambe without a devil fruit, Ao kiji can probably do something crazy as well. He might not get his leg on fire but I don't think his devil fruit will prevent him from doing something as similar.

I don't recall DFs nullify anything but their ability to swim but Lucci said their was a slight chance that certain Dfs might decrease their fighting ability or something.

That is a good point - we have something that exists in one piece and, in a different sort of way, Hunter x Hunter - and that's "normal people" who can lift tons for no apparent reason. Zorro himself lifted a corner of a story and a half, maybe two story, building and threw it at Number 1 - and soon after slashed it to small pieces.
