^to be fair, i can see why it could be confusing but it sorta goes along with the whole Moria being all like "Everyone else do everything for me cuz i'm fat and mmeeehh," i mean the thing is that there are really only as many bad guys in this arc as there are in the other arcs, unless you count all the random zombies that appear like once and then disapear, but regardless, i see your point with the running around, i'm still kinda confused on where hogback's little castle area from the beginning is in relation to where they are now,
^^^^(not sure how many up it is) but i understand that it seems like a short arc right now but i get the feeling that if it ends up being a short arc, that it's not gonna be the end of Moria, like i kinda liked the whole drifting to merman island thing but i think more than that they might drift to like another of Moria's little traps like maybe he has a whole island conquered or something,
^^^^ i think that if it ends up being short, that when they get there, Moria will make his escape for a while and team up with some random other generals or something,
^^^^however, i don't think that this is gonna be all that short, i mean althouhg we've already hit the part where they've started their one on one fights, well, almost one on one fights (chopper and robin), but more than just the leaders, they 're still gonna have to kick their own zombies' butts to get their shadows back according to Moria, so i mean this could become a rather long arc and important arc due to the whole defeating oz and defeating moria part,
ps- Moria seems like he's got a bunch of tricks up his sleeves so that could alone be how they make it so long a fight between him and luffy, in order to get the zombie thing under control,
It was a bit slow at the start but gradually got better, this arc is mainly a light hearted one with more comedy after a long serious one.
I <3 this arc!
i <3 Brook!
/hugs his perverted musician afro skeleton swordsman
The current arc is not too bad although i also found it confusing at the beginning of the story, but it has gotten better with the current events.
I found ussop's negativity thing to be quite hilarious..finally he is being useful xD
Mini-arcs are those arcs at the cover of One Piece chapters. Those mini-arcs give you a general idea of what happened to the characters in the past. The current one is God Enel's great space adventure. I say he should just get his ass down from the moon and try to conquer the world with his power.
Regarding Thriller Bark arc. At first I disliked it as well. By all honesty it was like Drum Island Arc Take Two. HOWEVER! The further I get into that arc, the more I like it! Unlike Drum at all, strange twists just keep on occurring! You NEVER know what's coming up next! Love it from the moment I set my eyes on Luffy's zombie. This arc isn't bad at all, I suggest you give it a chance. This arc is like One Piece as a series. It doesn't start well, but gets better and better as it progresses.
Besides, this arc involves a Shichibukai! That makes this arc completely relevant to the main plot. Not to mention the people of that island aren't pussies, unlike Wapol and his army.
this isn't a mini arc, is a full arc
and I like it
end of conversation
i kinda figured something like this will happen the moment Oda revealed Perona's powers.

Your out!? It's arcs like these and the davy back jones arc that keep One Piece at the front of the SJ lineup. While Naruto and Bleach have lost 95% of their sense of humor, One Piece has arcs like these to keep the show from being stagnant and humorless. I mean come on, Brooks is hilarious and the Usopp fight is priceless.
