    Default One Piece Fillers: Eisaku Inoue

    During the Funimation focus panel in AX 07, I got to ask Eisaku Inoue (Animation Director and Storyboard writer for One Piece) a question before they wrapped things up.

    I asked, "Now that the One Piece manga is getting ridiculously close to the anime, what are your plans on the fillers after the Enels Lobby arc?"

    After a minute of translations, he and his fellow storyboard writer confirmed that the fillers will last roughly 13-14 episodes; hurray! We can handle 4 months, right everyone? Heck, One Piece fillers aren't half bad either. I'd like to see another G8 quality arc.

    wouldn't it be fun if they made 2 or 3 years of filler ??

    heh, I actually liked the 'Strawhat in old japanese town' fillers, with Luffy as policeman and Nami as inn owner. They could make another one This time with some other characters...
