Thread: Any good?

Well, pretty much is the manga any good? figured i' ask before i spent the next few days reading approx 400 chps of it.

May not be the best place to ask in the area where people who like it would post but figured i would anyways.

I remember i saw the anime (the crappy english dubb) and while i thought it had a good idea i thought it was too kiddy :P

Then someone with a "Save One Piece" posted and i found out that its different^^

So any good?

(and did you guys just get a nuke or just people not post here?)

One piece is great and if you thoght the english was any good than you will love the Manga and the unedited anime version.
But do understand One Piece is my fav. Manga/Anime so my response may be a little......... I cant think of the word(s) One sided i guess you can call it.

Well, If u like funny manga this must be the one... But later u will find more than just humour in this manga... Friendship...
Actually the early chapters were kinda boring (dont flame me for this)... This manga starts slow... The fight is kinda slow... But you will appreciate it later... Trust me... Read atleast 400 chapter to judge this manga

the manga is a bit slow in the beginning but it picks up during the arlong arc its a pretty awesome manga and i highly suggest you read it

Its the most popular manga in the world, that should be reason enough to test it out. No one can tell you if its good, you have to decide for yourself :]

Well, guess i'll just have to buckle down and read it then XD

its just: 10 chps take me approx 45 min to 1 hour. If thats 100 chps thats approx 7.5 to 10 hours. So 400 will be 30 to 50 hours of reading O.o

I've read the first 2 books of the Wheel of time series faster then that! O.o

as for the number of posts in here, there are 484 threads and 19,674 posts in this forum
by default you only see the stickies plus the thread who have had a post recently (one day), which explain the nuke feeling..

For me it's good.It depends on taste but for some reason I can't get enough with only reading 1 chp of one piece per week unlike other manga.this manga always makes me curious what'll happen next.

yeah, the dubbed anime really gave this a bad rap for me. But just finished chp 70 and i'm liking it alot^^

FMA is still my fav but i <3 this as well^^
