luffy gets hurt by punches now

have you noticed?

this has been happening for a LONG time now, but i just thought i'd point it out. at the start, the point of his rubberness was his immunity to physical blunt attacks (like punches but NOT swords).

but with all this kicking by lucchi, or even shigan. it didnt kill him but it still owned him alot

and like back when he was versing foxy. when he was gettin hit by cannonballs, they didnt bounce off him but koed him instead. and his megaton punch BEFORE foxy used spiky gloves, he was getting owned by them too.....

Depends on impact. Think of it this way, if you punch water, does it hurt? No. If you jump off from a huge height and land on water, it will be like landing on concrete. With a huge impact, anything hurts, even on soft objects.

I agree. All of Luffy's enemies are much more powerful now, and their attacks are extremely dangerous. We've seen that it is possible to cut with your hands now as well, so it isn't all that crazy to say that Luffy can be hurt by "blunt" attacks.
