Thread: Ace and Teach[spoilers]

THis is to cover a couple of things

one, the relation between the D's

Teach, do you think he's now officially evil, cuz he's been saying all this stuff about his fruit being the most evil

Ace, is he dead, cuz there was the whole thing that seemed awfully like a farewell speach he gives

Ace's death would certainly be a major turning point for the manga, I mean it was almost stated so on the last page, so I say yes, but maybe he will return from hell with twice the furyoku and kiyk some ass, later to be reaveled to be blind, building up his charac... sorry got carried away, too much SK.

I wouldn't count Blackbeard as an EVIL man yet, he just wants to acomplish his dreams, altough his methods aren't the most noble ones, actually far from it. He doesn't seem as evil as psychotic

By saying his fruit is most evil, BB probably means that his fruit is most annoying to deal against.

i'd completely forgotten he was marshall d teach... however im starting to doubt this will of D claim since... thats no way to treat a relative.

It's not about whether he's trying to make his dreams come true or not, but the stuff he does to make them come true. Dreams are anything stupid... or not stupid, but the point is that Blackbeard's evil. He killed his captain just because he wanted a fruit. He had other options... unless the captain was about to eat it.

And Ace can't be dead. Flashbacks are the things that happen YEARS before the present, and that was days. If anything, Ace will get sucked into BB's hole (wow look at the potential sex reference) and will keep himself alive by burning all the other shit around him or by just turning himself to fire the whole time. Though... not sure if that'd work.

And yeah... his fruit prolly is a bitch. Luffy's Gear Second will probably be spammed to death here (Jet Cannon, anyone?) and I'm willing to say that, because he builds up all the force beforehand, that attacks like Pistol and Bazooka will still work against BB. Bad thing for Luffy, if he gets grabbed and the sniper decides to interfere, he's screwed out of his mind.

Ace is not dead. No way.

At the very least we'll see him again after Ruffy beat BB. It's just a question of how long it will take BB to catch up to Ruffy.

I hope it deosn't happen in the near future, because I somehow have the feeling it would make the manga longer.


But Ace is alive. He told Ruffy they'll meet again, gave him that piece of paper and Ruffy told him that they'd had to fight over who gets to become pirate king.
That alone is proof that Ace won't die.

Ace dying would be the same like Whitebeard killing Shanks and Ruffy never being able to give him back his hat.

It's just not gonna happen.

If Oda wanted to go down that road he'd done it already (Lysopp would be dead)

well considering what we've seen of luffy's grandfather this family doesn't exactly treat its members like relatives should so the will of D could still stand with teach =P (what was it? having luffy thrown off cliffs or something?)

anyway, ace probably isn't dead. i mean look at the bird guy (can't remember his name) from the alabasta arc. he definately looked dead but he still somehow managed to survive

i agree even though the last page hinted at ace dying i would be pissed off if he did ad doubt it would happen most likely teach keeps him captive luring luffy into a trap
which will end in luffy wining and him and ace sharing a laugh bout the irony of little bro saving big bro

and i thought the whole d thing was a sort of ancestory thing making them related but not technically family like their all from the same place

yeah i agree with loon. i thought the will of D was a specific ancestry dating back to the extinct civilization that the world government doesnt want brought to light. I think those with the name D are the direct descendants of that civilization though not direct blood relatives.
