I dont know, this a question from me to all the fans out there.

Do you think he could have been a rubberman like Luffy?

I would guess not. Im not shure he ever ate one. DOnt think it really fits.

I think the story would be better if Gol never ate a devil fruit. It would really shatter his image.

immposible ..... Oda said that once you take the firsrt bite, then the fruit will turn into a normal fruit ..... so there is no 2 person with the same devil power

I seem to remember the manga mentioning somewhere that there are variations of the same type of devil fruits. Something like Pell ate one of the bird type devil fruits.

In the same time , the tree who produce this devil fruit surely dropp a new devil fruit when tu user die. But don't forget that a devil fruit is really hard to find so we can't really know if it's impossible to find twice the same devil fruit with the power active.
