twisti : the anime is boring, i agree... but it's not the case for the manga !

anyway...
the main thing i don't like about one piece is the women. i mean, come on. the waist size is suppossed to be attractive? personally, it bugs the hell out of me. other than that, this manga rules! hope it's completed in translations soon....

YES! THE WOMEN! THANKS FOR BRING THAT UP! The women are drawn so exaggerated. Almost every story-related woman has big breast and pencil wasit. My thoughts: why bother making the female characters sexy if OP doesn't have ANY real sexual contents...except for horny Sanji.

that isn't sexy... kinda disturbing with the proportions.. and the woman they called miss univers had like a five inch waist!

The thing that gets me about OP is not really the women (altho why did they call Kokoro the "beautiful secretary"!??), not the time between plots (it's worth it usually, especially the suspense in this latest arc)...

..Luffy's fighting style. Zoro and Sanjis' styles are not seen as much, and are usually cooler to watch (especially Sanji's) but Luffy's consists of mostly the same stuff over and over! Which I undersand if he's strong and all, but it's not good to be repetetive in a manga.

Can you really expect him to struggle for almost a whole chapter with that sawnosed fishman or the God of Pirate sandguy (for example) and in the end annihalate them with one hit?? It gets almost boring to watch after a while..

Heh, it would be funny if Luffy were to go into a fist fight with the next opponent to develope new rubber attacks. Hajime no Luffy!

Yea...Luffy's fightin style. I liked the move he did onto that Lion which belong to that clown's crew, Baki??. The moves goes like this: 1) he stretch out his arm 2) he twist his arm together like a closely paked spring 3) he grabs the lion 4) he tosses and slams the lion over his head to the groud while uncoilin his spring-like arm. Best move i seen in OP by Luffy so far. That move knd of reminds of Naruto's Rasegan...hmm...

Sanji kind of only has a few moves while Zoro has tons...Seems like Zoro just makes up moves has he fights...lol

Luffy makes up moves all the time.

In the fight against the merman he did the thing where he stuck his feet in the ground to get rid of the sea monster. Then he webbed his fingers together to stop the mermans torpedo attack thing. I think the last kick he used was also a new innovation.

Fighting crocodile he became water Luffy and did the gattling gun or whatever where he plucked his arm like a guitar string to make it vibrate sideways.

The only times he doesn't come up with new moves is during fights he loses. Or ones he wins very easily like against the hyena spring guy.
