Thread: about sichibukai

I was reading wikipedia's page about one piece (its an extremely large one) and I found out, a sichibukai named JIMBEI, who seems to be a merman, but I have never heard of him

Am I crazy?

I lost this part on the manga / anime? could anyone please tell me when does is JIMBEI mentoned? please!!!!!!!! it's driving me crazy!!!

Yosaku mentioned him way back when the Don (Kreek)Grieg arc ended. He was brought up in relation to Arlong. I beleive Arlong was his first-mate.

yeah, dont worry about jimbei...all we got out of the arlong/jimbei related discussion in that arc is that his name is jimbei and hes a shichibukai. We dont know his abilities, how he looks or anything...also heard rumors that hes a whale shark merman..thats it.

Wow, then he must be huge. Like a giant merman since a whale shark is the biggest shark alive.

Whale sharks are the most docile sharks so i doubt Jimbei is one. Since he is a member of the Shichibukai, Jimbei is most likely a great white shark since they are the most dangerous and fiercest ones.

Arlong on the other hand was a Saw-shark.

where?? from what i remember they only said that he was a merman and a member of the shichibukai. but then again i might be wrong. Would you tell me where in the manga they said that??
