OMG OP anime....it's a big yay yay

I've never seen a better series than OP before! I read OP manga up to date but have not yet watch the anime version yet. If you know a good website to dowload, please recomend.

ADC generally releases a high-quality sub of each new episode only 1-2 days after it originally airs in Japan. The most recent episode is 273, which displayed Luffy using Gear 2 against Blueno.

As for past One Piece episodes, check Kaizoku-Fansubs. I don't have the exact link, but it's easily found on Google.

It is now time for discussion; did any one who saw the Gear 2nd transformation in the anime notice that Luffy pulled air into his shins TWICE, unlike the manga, where it's only shown once. Or could it have just been a do-over camera angle showing the Gear 2nd goodness?

No, he really did do it twice. I didn't even think about that until you mentioned it.

Oh well, I doubt it really matters.

i was wondering if they had skipped that but its coming up...cooool

but this ep really showed me i have to watch the anime to fully understand there motions, cause i always thought luffy shot the jet pistol but it is just a fast punch

Nah, I always thought it was supposed to be a "hyperfast" punch that couldn't be seen. But in a way it could be a "shot" from his arm.

Gear 2nd's Jet attacks involve striking the air, creating a force effect that travels forward without the need of Luffy physically stretching himself. That is why Blueno could not use Soru to escape, as I doubt he can outrun a shockwave.
