Devil Fruit Types.

I quoted the article because it was simpler. And no, I didn't edit it. I hardly visit Wikipedia, I was refered to it by a friend.
The scene the quote refers to is when Luffy is in Alabasta, and has just gotten into the city, he sees a restuarant and rockets himself towards it. Inside, Ace and Smoker are having a confrontation and Luffy ends up hitting them both and sending them through several walls. Smoker also rams Ace's head into the ground.
As I said before, the scene was comedic, and I thought it was not to be taken seriously.

for the original question : it has been stated there were 3 types of DF, and Oda can't create another one like that....
and the 3 types we know are wide/indefinite enough to allow some crazzy ass DF to enter one of them

Wikipedia is a fairly decent site to gain and quote information. The mere fact that it is written by one's peers shouldn't completely excuse it, as there are individuals on Wiki that do their best to maintain the validity of articles.

how about DF which lets you transform into insect.. i wish there is.. :D

Although it's obvious that Logia means elemental, the theory of Logia having a "Greater Element" subclass still holds on.

You, sir, need to clarify your statements. Wikipedia's information usually has valid information on its subjects. There is the problem with having a lack of information on certain subjects, but for a subject like One Piece, all information regarding the various abilities of the characters are mostly a collection of the most widely agreed upon speculations. Thus, even if Wikipedia says that Gear 2 is most likely vulcanization, which it no longer does, it Oda could prove it wrong.

There may well be a fruit like that as it would be unwise to assume that only the biological definition of animal is covered by the zoan fruit, if i remember which type is which correctly.

Smoker and Ace were taken by surprise in that incident, sleeping Eneru and the handsome spear can't be considered in the same light due to his interesting sensory trick. If a logia fruit user is caught off guard they will be hit it takes concentration even if only momentary to achieve such a transformation. Also no evidence has been given that Ace has mastered the turning to fire trick. I also disagree with the unlimited amounts of element, yeah right, there will be a limit to how much element an individual can create. If anyone has any examples of unlimited element creation feel free to argue with me I like a good pointless argument, Aokiji is a fascinating case in point. I would also argue that Crocodile was capable of manipulating the element around him as I recall that happening on one or two occasions during the Alabasta arc it was also a prime reason for choosing that kingdom.

edit: I was composing my thoughts while the above poster made a good point so heres my two cents on why there will be a limit. My reasoning comes down to two things, physics theories: energy is never destroyed only transferred, matter is energy at a slow vibration. And the concept of Ki or Chi depending on personal preference. The creation of an element by a logia user will involve either their own matter or Ki who's vibrational frequency is changed by DF empowered will to that of the element desired, there will be a limit to matter and Ki, but this allows for more powerful individuals to create more of an element.
Thus if any of the matter used were to be trapped part of the Ki would be automatically transferred to matter leaving the user feeling drained to whatever degree necessary to regenerate the matter.

There needs to be an anti-matter fruit user. Just think about it ... anti-matter ftw!

I just see really big mushroom clouds with that one.

As for seastone we don't know nearly enough about it's properties to determine how it can be used we don't even know if say the net or the bars or the cuffs are pure seastone or if they merely incorporate it. How would it work in an alloy? Were fragments just hammered in while the bars and cuffs were malleable? How much is required to affect a devil fruit user? Did the net merely have flakes or chips at the points where the wires joined? What would happen if it was ground into a powder and ingested by a devil fuit user or a solution used to suspend the stone applied to a blade? The element itself must be fairly rare when you consider the relative infrequency of it's use, only those of consequence wether it be by rank, location or wealth seem to have it. Also the firearms used in one piece appear to be flintlock so it could be used to make a sharpshooters bullet with care and time but I believe that will only happen under rare circumstances. Just random thoughts while reading earlier pages.
