    Default Sanji Is underused

Am I the only one who finds Sanji is being underused lately he is supposed to be the third strongest character after Luffy and Zoro but in all of his fights since the Baroque Works arc either one of three things happens

    1) He fights with a teammate, i.e. not by himself

    2) He loses his fight

    or

    3) His opponent is a weak freak. Yes Mr. 2 was a freak, but at least he was a STRONG freak

    do you agree or disagree

    SPOILERS!!!

I disagree man, the weak freaks on the train were warm up, true. But there were a lot of them and he saved Ussop while doing it. The CP9 guy beat him on the train, but the CP9 guys also beat Zoro and Luffy in the mansion when Sanji wasn't there. And yes, he didn't get to single handedly take a priest in Skypiea, he worked with Luffy and Ussop. But then what did he do? He took a shot to the face from Enel and thanked him for lighting his cigarette in badass glory and crippled Enel's operation. He did damage to the actual bad guy, Zoro helped a bit by aiding Wiper in tree cutting. Sanji did the cooler thing.

In CP9 he loses his fight to Califa... But what did you expect. Sanji can't fight a woman. Respect the man's chivalry as it is part of his character. He schools the guy he fights next in a badass Zoro level fight.

He's not the third strongest. He's tied for second.

I'm strongly disagree about your statement
the first one is sanji not the third strongest but he is in same level as zorro.

the next one is he lost bcos his oppenent is girl but that he only lost the battle not the WAR. although he lost to kalifa but he was paying it back by defeating another member of CP9...[sory spoiler]

and Mr.2 not a freak.. he/she are the person who appreciate friendship above of anything.. he/she even sacrifice him/herself for SH to lure the marine(commander Hina) when SH is waiting Bebe/vivi

Sanji is the one who work in the backstage. Like when in arabasta arc when all of SH was jailed by crocodile.and then he make up a plan to save SH by saying he was Mr. Prince. and then in this newest arc, he was the one who get to the ship to save robin and giving nami the note.... heheh
YEah sanji is cool besides his spiral eyebrow

he is 3rd in the crew (zoro is stronger than him, period)

but i don't know how you can say he is underused
he was the one who where in the train with robin by himself, he almost broke the tekkai of blueno with his foot, and now he won easily against one the most powerful cp9.... so WTF ?? O.o

also, even if he didn't have any fight and was the weakest in the crew, sanji would still be very interesting (by example what he said recently to usopp was priceless), he cooks very well and is quite smart when he needs to, so even if he was underused fight-wise that wouldn't matter....

No I'd say he's just right. I like Zoro better than sanji, but sanji's cool. I wouldn't say he's as strong as zoro, cus zoro's swords can cut through most things he wants them to go through, legs included.

I'm really not sure if he's meant to be equal in strength in the manga, but I'm speaking from my point of view using my own logic.

Anyhow, Sanji was recruited as a cook, cus they needed one. Fighting is his secondary ability, whereas in zoro's case, he was recruited as a fighter, and fighting is his primary (and maybe only) ability. For this reason, I think that zoro should be considered no.2 in fighting. I don't really see why Sanji should be just as strong as zoro, when he was mainly recruited for his cooking abilities.

And also Nami, Usopp, and Chopper were taking care of some tough baddies too. Just like Sanji, so if sanji isn't equal to zoro in strength, I don't even see why he should be 3rd. From my memory (which I must admit, is unreliable), it was always Luffy and Zoro who fought the strongest enemies, and the rest of the team fought the smaller (but also worthy) bad guys. Like in Arabasta, Luffy got Mr.0, zoro got No.1, and Sanji took out Mr.2. Nami took out Mr.1's female partner, which may have been a greater victory than taking out Mr.2.

Ofc these are all assumptions and opinions of mine, I like Sanji just like how I like all the strawhats, these are just my 2 cents.

Sanji has had a major spotlight during the entire Enies Lobby arc. After all, he's the one who infiltrated CP9's sea train, defeated Jyabura, and helped rebuild Usopp's self-confidence. He'll never have as much spotlight as Zoro or Luffy, simply because he is not as popular with the fans.

I do hate Sanji's chivalrous ideals, though. Why would I discriminate against a woman, simply because she's a woman? She deserves to get her ass beat just as much as anybody else.

And Bon Clay was not weak. He specialized in infiltration and assassination techniques [thanks to his Devil Fruit]. Crocodile would not give him the title of Mr. 2 for no reason.

don't talk down toward chivalry or you will get banned ~
only kidding, but really there is nothing wrong with that, and it's really cool that sanji is as much dedicated in his pledge

about the spotlight, he has as much as zoro, at the least

No actually that's one of the main reasons I like him. A man should treat a woman different than how he treats other men. This whole "women are equal thus should be treated so" junk, I don't believe in it. So what if women are equal to men, it doesn't mean we can't treat them with a special type of respect, I mean like how Sanji does. I think it's because men are treating women so much like other men these days, more and more gay people come to be. People need to distinguish between a man and a women in more than just how they look, or what body parts they have. Otherwise they won't see a difference anymore, and a guy can think things like "a man is just a woman with diff parts, it's ok to screw him too", which imho, is sick, despite peoples liberal views nowadays. Got it memorized? (haha just kidding, I hate it when Axel says this, but I just had to say it).

But Really, Sanji's a gentleman, and not perverted. I really like that about the guy. Robin is a true lady, and I believe that Spanda (I will not call him spandam cus that's what he wants) deserves to have his face stepped on for abusing robin. He also needs to be spit on, then thrown into a fiery pit where he would burn and die, despite Oda's no death ideal.

let's not begin an argument other that ok

so, about SANJI, he is truely a gentleman yes, but a perverted gentleman IMO ! (we have enough proofs when he is near a woman to say that ^^)
