Sanji Is underused

I feel that Nami, Chopper, and Ussop are underused than Sanji. Nami's won a total of 3 real fights (and lost 1), but she lacks weaponry, and has a more functional position on the ship as a navigator; Chopper's finished 5, but he's a doctor, Ussop's won 4 (and lost 2) but he's supposed to be a shooter, so it's a martial position. Sanji has fought 10 challenges and won, and lost 3. Ussop still needs a real battle in Enies Lobby. He seems best used for fighting Spandam, since they both are muscularly weak, cowards, and uses strange weapons. Spandam seems to be a tactical and strategic person as well.

Although I have to agree that Sanji hasn't fought anywhere near as many fights as Zoro and Luffy. Those 2 pretty much fight magnets. I don't want to tally up their fights; it's not worth the effort.

Oh, and Robin needs to fight more too, but she's still new compared to the rest of the crew.

You know, out of the three brawlers (Luffy, Zoro and Sanji, duh), Sanji is arguably the smartest. One might say he fights less due to his realizations that there may be a more effective use of his time and strength. Case in point: Rescuing everyone from Rain Diners, Zoro or Luffy would have just charged right in and screamed for Crocodile, in fact they did. Sanji chose a different route. Sanji had/has finnese'.....did I spell that right?

"Finesse."

But yeah, it's often noted that Zoro and Luffy aren't all that bright. Then again, neither was Gol D. Roger, apparently.

Pirates aren't supposed to be very bright. Look at the expressions of their smartest crewmates on every stunt they're forced to do.

hmm seriously sanji is my fav character, I like his chevalry, his phisics , his fighting skills and his cleverness. I really think that him, with robin and nami, is the smartest in strawhat crew.

and I have to recognise that zoro is a lil bit stronger than sanji, because at the beginning they were nearly equals in strenght. It was since zoro fought mr 1 and sanji mr2 that sanji started to be always a step behind zoro. But if they fought it would be an extremely close fight, since they are rivals and if zoros strenghth is 10, sanji's 9

And about the topic, I thought at first that sanji was being underused, as a sanji great fan, and i wanted sanji to fight more strong guys and to do more and more important things, cuz I was only seeing zoro doing great things and sanji doing dumb things, but recently i've opened my eyes and discovered that sanji always does smart and important things (SPOILERSthe train, telling all that stuff to usopp, rescuing franky and usopp, rescuing all the strawhats except chopper in the baroque works arc, kicking jyabura's ass and saving usopp at the same time, etc.). So now i think sanji is not beig underused. Him, as the other strawhats , are doing the things that they have to do according to their personality and strenght.

I agree with shautieh san.
People need to respect the members of the strawhat crew for their own abilities. Yes, what Sanji said to Ussop is memorable, because he is right.Everyone has a purpouse and that's not only beeing strong and to kick ass... where would they be withought Nami's navigation skills, or withought Chopper's medical knoledge.
Plus Zoro is stronger than Sanji, but Sanji's dream isn't even to be strong or anything, it's to find the all blue :)
Anyway, all the members are important, and they aren't underused.

Sanji hasn't really been underused recently. He may have been fighting "weak freaks" but he was the only one doing anything at all at that time.

As for whether Sanji is stronger than Zorro, I'd have to say he isn't quite, though they are close. You'll notice that the two CP9 they are fighting right now are barely different in their strength rankings? The main difference in their power comes from Zorro using weapons, if you were to compare their physical power there's not much difference. (In fact, before the "gears" there probably wasn't too much difference between Luffy and the other two either as far as sheer physical strength goes.)

The Doukiri of Lucci, Kaku, and Jyabura basically depict the comparison of strength between Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji, respectively.

Duh. What else would it be? Like, I always see "Your opinion." or "Stop stating your opinion as fact." If people would stop to think about how stupid that stuff sounds, they'd realize that everything is an opinion.

Sanji isn't stronger then Zoro. The argument of Luffy and Zoro fits better. Oda even had these two fight each other once and each take it very seriously with neither having an advantage. Zoro needs to be injured, lost, or otherwise preoccupied in several arcs because either Zoro would have defeated everyone already (Arlong Park) or the Luffy + Zoro combo is simply too great.

I would say Robin is the only underused character right now but only because she left the crew recently and is basically sitting there while they come to rescue her.
