Thread: 4kids ruined One Piece Anime

Hi guys im here ot discuss something that makes me sick, im from mexico, so i havent seen one piece like you do on USA, now, they are finally putting it on, i have heard that 4kids censored a lot this series on the usa, but i cant belive how much they censor it in here, they just translate it to spanish and leaved all the crap that 4kids did.... this makes me sick , one piece series has many great adventures , and great messages to be heard, man, they even getted off the opening and ending... this really disgust me, also, the voices suck....- i guess itll need some autorithy on usa or in CN to actually found out how much sutpid it is to censorchip an anime series...... man, i actually wanna make 4kids dissapear or get broke, they dont deserve the rigths to have One Piece, hell, how come they get the rights? doesnt the company that created one piece have some shame on to know what itll be done to its masterpiece.... shit......... i love animax channel, they translate anime greatly welll, and dont censor anyting, im taping right now GANTZ anime fullly uncensored and well translated....

i just hope that theyd at least put some subtitles to the opnenings and endings, this things had many hidden messages that are worth checking or thinking about.... for an example, if you havent noticed it yet, theres an opening in wich Namis the one singing it, of course its not well seen, but it is, and the letter suggests a lot... i think it was something about neverland...

anyway, also robins endings, choppers , etc... they are part of the series, i just hate that people that manage the media are so fucking stupid to dont even know what they are putting on... and took it like simple cartoons for kids, for cry sake, luffys 18 and nami tooo, robins 28 i think, and so on the characters are all older... so why the heck they think this series its for kids??????

PD i just want to see how the audience of usa or mexico will cry by seeing the chapters of chopper past... man, i dont remember have cried seeing bambi, but this actually got me....sniff. (also wanna see arabasta arc fully uncensored and well translated on tv, it just kick asses).

This topic has been discussed many times before and we all feel the same as you do, 4kids must die. However, thanks to wonderful magical interweb, we are able to download the uncensored subs (or I assume so, I don't watch OP, I just read it).

i though we all agree to not mention the 4kid crap again... and like the other thread, we said if u want to kill 4kids just don't watch them dam thingy. Also tell all your friends to stop watching it aswell.

Watch = support.
not watch = kill

Anyway the japanese voice with English subtitle is better. I had never seen OP in English or Spanish and not even bother..... but i think it would be dubbed rather than voice translation. They are suck bad.

So the Spanish version of One Piece is just a translated version of the 4Kids dub, huh? That really sucks.

I remember when DBZ used to come on Telemundo and was virtually uncensored, which was really something because that was around the time when only the heavily censored Saban version was being syndicated in America.
I guess what I'm trying to say is, why couldn't the distributors just obtain rights to the original Japanese series and translate that into Spanish?
Was it really worth their wild to purchase the 4Kids version?

I think they had no choice but to get the 4 kids version. Or maybe 4kids does the spanish version. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

anyways, have you guys seen the comic about 4kids? I'll try to find it.

I'm pretty damn sure 4kids dropped One Piece. So no one has to fear them ruining it moreso.
