Thread: ...real funegiri?

I just watched ep 261.

It's funny that the so-called 'man who cuts ship like a steak '(even Zoro admits he's strong!) lose just by some of Zoro's 'moves'. I was really looking forward for this ep, expecting a longer, more intense duel between the strong swordsmen. Kinda disappointed now...

Whaddya guys think?

this is the marine guy that looks like a skull isn't (T-bone or something)?? well here's my thought:
1. he's not a major character, basically, he's just a "filler" character, he's just there because each train has a guardian.
2. luffy's train (can't remember the name) is a non-stoppable train.....how do you expect an intense and longer duel??? there's no way to stop the train...and even if there is they wouldn't do that..

Oda never makes filler characters. Anyone unimportant is put into the background. Everyone else ends up in some kind of adventure.

I agree with pentaelemental that there isn't any filler characters but I do believe that T-bone was added more of as a humor relief...

Oda has the amazing ability to make each page interesting, never a dull moment

T-bone could have also been used to demonstrate how powerful the strawhats are, because CP9 just pulverized them. Introducing them as a match suddenly is a bit too sudden...

Also remember all the first page comics. T-bone will probably have his own arc after the remnants of Crocodiles group end
