Btw, didn't Lucchi say that devil fruits are, like, random or something like that? In other words, no one knows what the ability is until it is eaten? How did Shanks know that the fruit that Luffy ate was "the Rubber Fruit"?

i think some 1 had already mention that, and we already discuss it. Some say it was just an error and other says that Shrank did research on it. But no one knows for sure.

Maybe Shanks is psychic... Or Dragon gave him the fruit...

I guess sum1 who eats a the fish fruit will become a fish and stay like that. Until it gets eaten!

We know how Shanks got his fruit. I think it's just a minor continuity error. At that time, it's possible that Oda didn't have the system thought out completely yet.
