edit: I could have sworn I heard/read that he was but later when I tried to find it I could not. It was either imagined or hard to locate.

its mentioned by the goverment guy who eats the smoke fruit, the girl who can grow her hands like flowers, and the girl who reminds zoro of that little girl who died when he was kid. sorry cant remember the names they all escape me now. but it has been hinted to through out the manga. and oh yeah the flying knight guy from sky piea mentions it too.

they never said in the manga nor the anime that Gol D Roger was Luffy's grandson....

just stop daydreaming, and anyway, it would suck if he actually was luffy's granfather

nobody knows what the D means... people who say Gol D Roger is Luffy's grandfather are liars, or else they daydream so much that they think it's the reality

Asshole is right when he say to not forget blackbeard, because his real name is ??? D Teach... so if you agree with the "D family" theory, it would mean blackbeard is part of this family, and his nephew Portgas D Ace wants to kill him meanwhile he don't remember his another nephew Luffy when he sees him....
i really don't understand why people continue to find this theory true...

D might be their bloodtype. ABO might not even exist in this world.
