What is the real function of it?
u can see slow motion of enemies's movement???
u can read the way of think of others???

But???Why u cannot copy the Rasengan???

it doesnt see slow motion of enemy's movement, it predicts them and thus can see their movements before they perform them.

How do you know it cannot copy Rasengan?

although you say not to reply here i'll do it anyway. the shringan can predict your opponents next move and copy the three types of jutsus (nin-,gen- and tai-,) but can only copy ninjutsu if there are hand seals to it. so just because sasuke saw naruto use rasengan he cant copy it because it doesnt use hand seals. plus rasengan is a high level ninjutsu that only three people can use.

Even IF Sasuke could copy rasengan guess Sasuke doesn't wan't what Naruto is using anyways cuz he thinks hes stronger than him. anyhow I guess death incarnate is right

What a pointless topic. Sharingan copies jitsus (with handseals) and taijitsus like Rock Lee's Lotus / it copied it but only the half of the lotus cause Sasuke's body was unable to reproduct the moves/. With sharingan you can also see the flow of the chakora into the parts of the body and predict the movement. Sharingan can also be used with special jitsus like Kakashi and Itachi's mangayo.

I'm pretty sure the Sharingan can only copy what it actually sees and Sasuke's reason for not using the lotus was because he never actually saw it, he only saw the beginning of it.

Sharingan can only copy what is in the limits of the user. Since Lotus technique is a strain on the body, unlocking hidden potential of the body and it's strength, how can you "see" that? You can't, all you can do is a cheap imitation of the real move. Even if he knew how, he couldn't pull it off.

Whatever move has to do with internal chakra without usage of handseal cannot be copied either. The move can only be copied if it is understood, and Sasuke doesn't get how Rasengan works/is used. That's why he cannot copy it, even if he knew how he would have to undergo the same training Naruto did in order to use it.

In short, Sharingan copies ninjutsu with handseal and taijutsu, but only if it's in the limits of the user.
